the_last_gunslinger Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 DEEE-TROIT BASKET-BALLL! I'm pretty happy. My team (The Pistons) handed the Lakers their first loss of the season. Quote
Dr T Posted November 16, 2008 Author Report Posted November 16, 2008 Thank you sir. You know, the game (as most things) have a psychological component to it and last nights win/loss was all part of my plan. See it as a calculation and nothing more. We can still be friends I hope :) Quote
Dr T Posted November 16, 2008 Author Report Posted November 16, 2008 hahaaha yes Siouxz. I was talking to Ceeboo so sir fit :) Quote
siouxz72 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 oh...yes. you're right. with Ceeboo sir fits perfectly! Quote
Dr T Posted November 21, 2008 Author Report Posted November 21, 2008 Ok, my boys are 9-1 after beating the Suns last night. Kobe had a sub-par game and Pau only had like 4 points but we took care of business easily. The Lakers are so deep, beleive it. Lakers A-L-L day! "The Lakers will take it all this year." Quote
Guest ceeboo Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 My dear friend Dr. T, As an avid B-Ball fan, I wanted to let you know what I REALLY feel about your team. ( Not like my earlier post regarding the Pistons :)) The Lakers LOOK FANTASTIC this year. They are VERY DEEP, LOADED WITH YOUNG TALENT, AND SEEM TO BE EXACTLY THE SUPPORTING CAST THAT MR. Bryant HAS BEEN WAITING FOR. ( MY opinion, is that Kobe is the best in the World right now and when he does NOT HAVE to do it all, he will be EVEN MORE DANGEROUS than he already is ) Good luck, I believe this is indeed your year!!! Peace, Carl Quote

I just hope there are no major injuries this year. Oh, that makes me want to post the Kobe MVP vid again. I might go look for that. :) Quote
Dr T Posted November 21, 2008 Author Report Posted November 21, 2008 Hey Ceeboo,I don't know if you've seen this clip. I had it on my page last year. I like it so I'll share it with u. Quote
BenRaines Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Dr. T, Goooo Lakers. What a great start to a season. They have started this way before, important to stay positive and hope they can keep it up. Ben Raines Quote
Dr T Posted November 21, 2008 Author Report Posted November 21, 2008 You're right Ben. Keep it up and stay healthy and things are looking great! Quote
Steven22 Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Did anyone see how the Blazers beat the Bulls a few nights ago? The Blazers one by 42 points!! I swear that there were at least 15 dunks by the Blazers during this game. It was a complete domination by my team, the Blazers. I haven't seen the Lakers win by that much this season yet. Quote
Dr T Posted November 21, 2008 Author Report Posted November 21, 2008 You're right Steven my boys have not won by 42 points this season. Wow that is a thrashing! How's you new big man? He looks impressive to me. The cool thing is that my boys are able to get some rest during the game as our bench is so strong. Things are looking good. We'll see how it goes when we meet this season. :) Quote
siouxz72 Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 Dr T.. do you own stock in the Lakers franchise? I'm just curious as to how they are "your" boys. So far as I know, your boys are all little kids! lol Quote
Dr T Posted November 22, 2008 Author Report Posted November 22, 2008 hahaha, well since the Lakers have been my boys for years and years whether we win or lose, they are MINE. As in not a fair weather watcher but a true fan with ownership. Not the "oh, 'they' lost" but "Oh 'we' lost!" kind of fan. Quote
siouxz72 Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 ooooh...thanks for the explanation! 'preciatecha Quote
Dr T Posted November 22, 2008 Author Report Posted November 22, 2008 Was that too much? Next time I'll say "cause" would that be better? Quote
Dr T Posted November 22, 2008 Author Report Posted November 22, 2008 Lakers by 20 at the half at Denver. My boys came out strong 35-20 first quarter then 32-27. We'll see how the rest of the game goes. Quote
Dr T Posted November 25, 2008 Author Report Posted November 25, 2008 Kobe Bryant scored 24 points to lead eight players in double figures as the Lakers spread the offense around in Sunday night's 118-108 home victory over Sacramento. 8 players in double figures? NICE! Quote
Dr T Posted November 27, 2008 Author Report Posted November 27, 2008 The Lakers are doing great! They beat the Nets 120 to 93 to bring us to 12-1. We have a game against Dallas on Friday. Quote
BenRaines Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I saw an interview with Phil Jackson. I think he looks younger without the facial hair. Ben Raines Quote
Dr T Posted November 29, 2008 Author Report Posted November 29, 2008 You're right Ben, he does look younger. === Ok, 114 to 107 over the Mavs. We had a bad 2nd quarter and all but Ariza off the bench played badly. I just wonder where my bench was tonight. I'll take it though. That brings by boys to 13 and 1. GO LAKER! Now I'm off to bed. Sleep well all. night. Quote
siouxz72 Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 lol, Dr T! yes! GO LAKER! Which one are you picking to go? I vote Kobe! that kid needs to git! Quote
