111-99 Lakers over Suns last night. Kobe scored 36 points, 9 boards and 6 assists at home Friday for their third straight win. Bynum (17 points, 14 rebounds) and Gasol (10 points, 13 rebounds) both Barnes had 17. Kobe got his 1000 board as a guard tonight.

Tonight we fell to the Suns in Phx. Congratz Nills. Kobe had 32 points and 7 rebounds, Pau had 17 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists while Bynum had 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks tonight. We lost 102-90

103-92 victory tonight over Portland. They only have 7 in the first quarter. They picked it up after the first but still fell short to my boys. We played at home tonight. :)

Lakers work the ball inside much of the first half, leading to 16 points from Pau Gasol and 9 points from Andrew Bynum, but they go into the halftime locker room tied up with Dallas at 48.

We faced the champs for the second time this season when we played in Dallas last night. We started out strong, Kobe struggled and we could not make many from the stripe in the 4th but we pulled it out 96-91. I'll take it

The Lakers (20-13) close out the NBA's pre-All-Star slate tonight when they visit Oklahoma City for their first matchup of the season with the team sitting on top of the Western Conference, the Thunder (26-7). The action starts at 6:30pm PT

Bryant broke Jordan's record of 262 points on a dunk with 4:57 left in the third quarter. That gave him 20 points for the game.

Owner of a record-tying four All-Star MVP awards, Bryant began the night with 244 points in the 12 games he had played in. He passed Oscar Robertson (246 points) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (251) earlier in Sunday night's game.

Bryant tied the record on two free throws in the third quarter, taking a break between them to wipe blood from his nose after a hard foul from Miami's Dwyane Wade.

My boys who are 20-14 play tonight against the Wolves to start the second half of the NBA season. The Thunder spanked us last game we played 75-100. I knew they were tough.

Kobe had his nose broken during the all-star game, he went to a nose, ear and thoat doc and he was referred to a neurologist because there are other issues from the nose being broken.

Kobe was cleared to play with his a broken nose shortly before Wednesday's game so he played. We had good numbers through the game. Kobe had 31 points in the Lakers' 104-85 win over the Timberwolves. Bynum had his career-high 22nd double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. His knee had a shot and it was not swollen so he played.

The Lakers last matched up with the Sacramento Kings in the second game of the season and lost. Fast forward to March 1. LA has won 7-of-10 games to improve to 21-14 on the season, 4th in the West, and have been dominant of late at home, winning their last five at home by an average of 16.6 points.

Kobe put up 38 points as we took down the Kings tonight in our house 115-107. Bynum scored 19 with 15 rebounds while Pau and Ron each had 15 points. This was LA's 7th straight home game win.

Sunday afternoon's game vs. Heat. Kobe scored 18 of his 33 points in the first quarter and we never were in trouble in today's game. It was a 93-83 final today with the Lakers on top. Ron or Metta had 17 points and Bynum finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds and I think Pau had a double double also. We play better at home. I'll take the win.

We lost in overtime last night 88-85 to the Pistons. Kobe changed to a black mast but was off in his shooting so she switched back to the clear. It didn't matter, we lost.

We play the Wizards tonight at 4:00

Back to back road games and back to back losses. We lost to Washington last night. We sat nicely at half and we let them back in the game and they won. We play again on Friday

Tonight's game vs. Timberwolves was a win. Kobe scored 34 points and hit clutch free throws to lift L.A. to its 18th straight victory over Minnesota, in a 105-102 road win. Bynum added 26 points with 10 rebounds.

To win our 18th straight (out of 19) home games we handled the Centics.

Kobe Bryant scored 26 points in the Lakers' 97-94 home win over the Celtics on Sunday. Andre Bynum (20 points, 14 rebounds) and Pau Gasol (13 points, 13 rebounds) added double-doubles as the Lakers outrebounded the Celtics 42-33 in the win

Last nights double OT victory over the Griz

It wasn't easy, but Andrew Bynum scored a season-high 37 points and grabbed 16 rebounds Tuesday to lead the Lakers to a 116-111 double-overtime win. Kobe Bryant had 34 points as L.A. erased a 17-point third-quarter deficit. The Lakers made 23 more free throws than the Grizzlies.

Lakers vs NO. Kobe hit three freethrows with 2 seconds remaining to push the game to OT. Kobe Bryant had 33 points and 5 assists. Bynum and Pau both had double doubles. Bynum had 25 points and 18 rebounds while Pau had 18 points and 10 rebounds in our 107-101 victory. wtg!

Fish was traded. Fish is a quality guy.

The Los Angeles Lakers traded away veteran guard Derek Fisher and acquired point guard Ramon Sessions in last-minute deals ahead of the NBA trade deadline Thursday.

According to Yahoo! Sports, the Lakers agreed to deal the 37-year-old Fisher and a first-round draft pick in 2012 to the Houston Rockets in exchange for 24-year-old center Jordan Hill.

The Lakers completed a separate deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers that will see them give up another first-round pick in 2012 for Sessions, according to ESPN.

Los Angeles also will send forward Luke Walton to Cleveland in exchange for Christian Eyenga as part of the deal for Sessions.

According to the report, the Lakers will also have the right to swap first-round draft positions with Miami in 2013. Cleveland owns the rights to Miami's pick as part of the LeBron James deal.

The first-round pick in the Fisher deal is the Dallas Mavericks' pick, which Los Angeles acquired the rights to in the Lamar Odom trade.

Fisher has spent 13 years of a 16-year career in Los Angeles, winning five NBA titles with the storied franchise. He has averaged 8.7 points and 3.1 assists per game for his career.

Sessions, who turns 26 next month, is averaging 10.5 points and 5.2 assists for the Cavs this season.

Winners and losers of the NBA trade deadline

Lakers

Landed a starting point guard in Ramon Sessions, traded the man who likely would have been in his way in Derek Fisher, and rid themselves of dead weight in Luke Walton and Jason Kapono. It couldn’t have been easy parting ways with Fisher, someone who has meant so much to this organization. But Sessions is the large upgrade they needed to be taken very seriously again. That supersedes sentimentality. Grade: A

Last night we beat the Wolves 97-92. Kobe made five 3-pointers while Pau and Bynum both had double doubles. Pau had 17 points and 11 boards while Bynum had 15 and 14. Barnes added 15. We now are 19-2 at home this season. We get Utah next this Sunday.

We play at home again tonight. We are 28-16 and "have the best home record in the NBA at 19-2." We put out five-game winning streak on the line when we host Utah who are 22-22. Game beings at 6:30pm pacific.
