Am I along?

I am new as you can surely tell. I am searching for any members that have experience in visions. I feel all alone sometimes, like no one can relate. Surely I am not the only one that has had a real vision. I am interested in sharing with people like myself that are looking share their experiences. I hope to find some new friends with something in common.

I've only had one experience that could be called a vision. It helped me make a decision regarding my stewarship, and probably wouldn't be very interesting or surprising to anyone else.

I have dreams... it goes in teh family.... sometimes I can see a "dream" while awoke too...

Mostly what we get are just for us to help us to be prepared... btw I have written a block on my dreams... you can get to it from my profile or maybe also from the bolgs tag...

I know my dreams were for me and they ...most of them have conme true...

Even if you would see somtehing that consists other people it is better not to tell publicly about them. And it is good to remember that only the profet can get information about what the church should do. Then again it MAY happen you see something before he does... or actually before he tells about it.

It is ok to see these things. Use them with care and never go against someone who is "higher". I know it means a lot of patience, but if the thing that was given to you is true the real leaders will get to there eventually.

I have dreams, they don't happen often and they have been either to warn me or strengthen me. I don't tell anyone about them though.

I'd like to thank you and everyone else for replying to my post. It really means alot to know that there are people out there that care. My dream/vision is still very vivid to this day. I struggle to find it's meaning in my life. I know that one day I will see it all played out. The thing is that I'm sure that I saw Joseph Smith even before knowing of him or becoming a member of the church. Thanks again everyone!

Hello Drew,

I think that a lot of us have personal revelations through our dreams.

I have, only a couple of times but I will remember them forever.

I guess the way that it happened to me is that I was dreaming and suddenly woke up and you know when you no longer know if you are asleep or awake. It's a little complicated to explain, all I know is that it happened to me and it was an answer to one of my prayers its being more than 20 years since it happened and it seems like it was yesterday.

I haven't share this with anyone other than my family, for two reasons,

one, I think they are personal and very spiritual experiences that were meant just for us,

and two, most people don't believe in them.

The thing that is so weird is that you KNOW when you see one of THOSE dreams... I mean YOU KNOW and you`ll remember....

Only reason I tell about my dreams is that I want those, who see dreams feel ok about them. There has been many asking the same questions.... I believe it is quite ok, just you keep a low profile and dont go screaming about the end of the world in the nearest roadcorner or in the next speach in the Church.

My problem really was, that I have not trusted the dreams always. I have not seen what the problem is/was before it hit me on my face, from a direction I was not prepared for. Well it was difficult to know as I didnot rememer or dont usually remember anything of those dreams that mean something bad will happen, but if I only had studied better my earlier dreams I could have found it out....

I don't have any to speak of that come to the front of my mind, but more than one in my family do. It is how more than one member of my forebears came to join the church. They happen. You are not alone, that's for sure. I seem to be in the place where believing without seeing is still required, and yet I don't need to see. I just need to keep the strength to move forward.
