moonlilly Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Hi, I am posting this here so if this is in the wrong section please feel free to move it. I love history especially the archeology part. I was just wondering if there was any website out there that I could view some of these ancient letters, scrolls or manuscripts that have been found that relates to the bible. For example I was reading the post about becoming gods and some of you posted some great links to read. Also I would like to know if there is a site where you can read about the other so called books that were not put into the bible. I am kind of new with all of this and would really like to read some of this stuff but have no idea where to go to look for it. Thank you! Stacy Quote
Maureen Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Hi Stacy, you could try Bible.org: Home. And if you're looking for specifically Mormon history you could try Signature Books -- Publisher of History, Essay, Fiction, and Poetry. Good luck! Quote

moonlilly Posted December 3, 2008 Author Report Posted December 3, 2008 Thank you all for the great links so far. I am a big history freak and since I have been learning about what is in the bible and the book of Mormon I have this desire to learn about the past. It makes for a good read as well. Stacy Quote
Hemidakota Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 So am I when it comes to history. I rather have it pure and undefiled but that never happens. Quote
moonlilly Posted December 3, 2008 Author Report Posted December 3, 2008 I know exactly what you mean there! Quote

BenRaines Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 While I love reading the scriptures it is nice to study what it was like in the times these things were happening that were written about. Scripture is scripture but it does help to know what times were like when they transpired. Ben Raines Quote
