NOT Frosty the Snowman, but....

Frosty the Hitman,

He's on the job this week...

And it might be you or some arab dude or a russian, or a greek.

With guns and knives and bombs,

and poison's not too much.

He'll waltz right in with a great big grin

And take you out at lunch.

NOT It came upon the midnight clear, but.....

It came to Europe on tiny little feet,

fat rats carrying fleassssss.

With microbes all nestled so warm and snug,

it was a loathsome disease.

The Plague, the Plague, the Black Death,

It killed Twenty Million or more.

It left huge boils upon the skin,

Please stack your dead by the door.

NOT Let it snow, but......

Oh, the weather outside is frightful,

so I went and got my rifle.

And I wandered down to the mallllllllllllll.

And shot 'em all, shot 'em all, shot 'em all.

Oh, the fire is slowly dyin'

and the kids they are a-crying.

and there's blood spattered on the waaaahallllllllll,

at the mall, at the mall, at the mall.

NOT Oh Christmas Tree, but......

Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree,

why in the heck did you fall on me?????

Hurt my neck in several places,

now I need to get new braces,

Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree,

why in the heck did you fall on me?????

And wild and sweet the words repeat.....

Of peace on earth, good will to men.

I thought how, as the day had come, - - -

Crum, Book- you two totally do not get it. If you do not or can not sing the Christmas carols nicely with the rest of us, then go home and drink your christmas punch and feed you ho-hum attitudes.

Thanks Pam, you did get it.

The belfries of all Christendom

Had rolled along, the unbroken song

(SIGH. . )

What I was trying to do was have you all follow me with the words of the carol. Not just make comments on them.

I will start again:

HE SENT HIS SON

How could the Father tell the world of love and tenderness? - - -

here is where you can find it. Topics - LDS Church Music Find Christmas and then He Sent His Son. Listen to it, and add the next words of the carol.

Once the carol is finished, then add a new carol. They do not have to be from the church Hymn book, but could they PLEASE not be crude like the one Book posted.

Book can start a new thread of Fractured Christmas Carols- I will gladly post a few that I know.

Also, if you do not like a particular carol, please keep your negative comments to yourself and wait to post until there is a carol you do like.

Thank you.

True - there are very very few carols that I do not like. I, naturally, started with the one that touches me the most. I have felt most of the emotions stated in this carol. For 15 years I battled despair, depression and sorrow during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. At times I was just a hairs breath away from suicide. The carols got me through that hell. My family would send me boxes of tapes of carols that they copied. I would play them nearly 24/7. At times I would be sitting on the floor in tears listening to them.

I rejoice in the spirit of Christmas Carols, that is why I started this thread. To share my love of Christmas Carols. I really love the ones from the Childrens Song Book. To hear the children singing them, is to me what Heavenly Angels must sound like.

HE SENT HIS SON

He sent his Son, a newborn babe, with peace and holiness.

How could the Father show the world the path-way we should go? - -

Guest TheLutheran

Christ the Savior is born.

Christ the Savior is born.

(This is, by far, the best I've ever sounded!!) :sunny: Ever heard of the Lutheran Tabernacle Choir? Nope? . . . that's what I thought. There's a reason for that!!
