rexbeardsley Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Well CONGRATS to anyone BLESSED to recieve such a wonderful calling! I can't wait until there is any time, any calling that I can have to help and serve those whom the Lord wants me to! Quote
BenRaines Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 The first one on the list Albright was the Stake President I served under on the High Council. A great man. His business partner is coming home in July as President of the Chicago mission, President Stoddard. He will be a great mission president. I wouldn't be surprised if he is sent back to Africa. BenRaines Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 kathysmike, You wouldn't recognize the area if you went back after all these years. Just in the seven years we lived there it changed so much. We just moved away from there. Ben Raines Quote
pam Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 My district manager was just called to be a mission leader. He won't know until the end of February where it will be. Pres. Eyring called him and his wife. Quote

Hemidakota Posted January 22, 2009 Author Report Posted January 22, 2009 Remember, it is a norm now, to be called as a General Authority, one needs to serve as a Mission President first. However, there is an exception to this rule in special circumstances. Quote
