LittleWyvern Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 (edited) "A man is looking at a clock that displays the correct time, but he doesn't know what time it is. Why not?"Is he watching a pre-recorded television show/movie/video game?Either that or the clock is using a different number script. Edited February 7, 2009 by LittleWyvern Quote

Jenamarie Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Is he watching a sports game? (as in, it's the time left for the game, but not the actual time-of-day time?) Quote
Wingnut Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 The clock can display the correct time, but it isn't actually displaying it at the moment? Quote
Misshalfway Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Because.....he was dropped as a child? Quote
Wingnut Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Because.....he was dropped as a child? If I were FunkyTown, I would say "Your - face - was dropped as a child." But I'm not FunkyTown, so I won't say it. Quote

SinnerMan Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 If you found yourself standing before two guards, who each guard a door, *two doors total* and one door led to heaven...one to hell. One guard always and only lies, the other only gives pure truth... you do not know who is who for they are identical in every way ... how would you determon which door led to heaven by asking only ONE question, which must be addressed to both guards at the same time? I'll say that the liar could be guarding heaven....or he could be guarding hell...and vice versa. Again you only get one question that must be presented to both guards. How do you discern which door leads to Heaven? There is only one right answer to this. :) Quote
Misshalfway Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Oh no Sinnerman. You can't go and add another riddle to the mix! I mean my brain can only take one teaser at a time. Quote

There is only one right answer to this. :)You ask one of the guards,"if i were to ask the other guard which door is the right one, what would he say?"For example, the correct door is the door on the left, so if you asked the truth telling guard, he would say, "The other guard would say, the door on your right"If you asked the liar, he would say "The other guard will say, the door on your right" He says this, cause he always lies.
