HEthePrimate Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Sunny, unseasonably warm (mid-80s), with some wind. :) It was like this yesterday, and is expected to continue the next couple of days. What a nice change after all the cold and rain, though I hope this doesn't mean an ultra-hot summer. Peace and sunny thoughts, everybody! HEP Quote
prospectmom Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 It is sunny here but cold..... windy last week was the 80's today 50's.. any sun is GOOD sun Quote
pam Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Hush it. It was cold and rainy and there is the possibility of some snow/rain mix tomorrow. Quote
havejoy Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Sounds like the day I had. I spent most of it outside. I mowed, rode my bike, went for a walk with my husband, sat on the bench in our front yard breathing in the smell of cut grass. Really beautiful day. Quote
HEthePrimate Posted April 26, 2009 Author Report Posted April 26, 2009 Just talked to my mom. She said they had rain mixed with snow today (though fortunately it just melted). I expect it's headed my way, but I'll enjoy the warmth and sun while I can. :) Peace. HEP Quote
Mahone Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Am I the only one who prefers it when it rains? Lol. I'm not very keen on the sun. It's nice once in a while I guess but I much prefer it when it is raining/snowing/hailing etc. and actually doing something interesting lol. The disadvantage of the UK is we get very little interesting weather, we rarely get extremes of anything, though I'm sure some people would see that as an advantage (admittedly when we do get any kind of unusual weather, the whole of the UK comes to a standstill). talisyn Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 It snowed here yesterday. Today it's incredibly sunny. Mother Nature has issues. Quote
Just_A_Guy Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 It was warm-ish and slightly cloudy yesterday when we went into church. By the time church was over it was freezing and, as one wag remarked, "there's two inches of Global Warming on the ground!" Quote
Guest Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Spent the past 2 weekends at the beach! I'm 2 shades darker than my winter color... my kids look like aussie aborigines. All week is sunny without any hint of rain until Saturday. Mid 80's high all week long, lows in the high 60's. Perfect! I LOVE FLORIDA! Quote
