Reviewing Church History, you could say that there was a time to stand with a musket in your hands, and a time too raise that musket in defense.I don't think we need any thing more than a sign. And to increase our numbers.

At this time, in this country, raising your musket wouldn't be in defense of anything, it would just be an attack on things you don't agree with.

And the sign is going to scare who ? After all thats the affect protests are suppose to have right? Fear the public. Fear of not getting voted back in. Fear of being hung by the neck, shot, badly burned and have the local sheriff report its the worst suicide he's ever seen.

Stop living in a fantasy land of gum drops, lollypops and all this warm fuzzy talk of "peaceful protest" as if it will actually make a difference. Just for fun you should read up about the "peaceful protests" in britain a few short years ago when their guns were confiscated. Far to little and far to late. The only thing that would or could put an end to that is swift merciless violence on those that supported/enforced that action. When a half dozen folks in each town start shooting officials and their hired gestapo in the face ,then you'll see change. Something like this happened here once back the late 1700's and they got crap DONE. AMEN

Dude. I love your passion, but I wounder who you would shoot first? Tossing the tea into the harbor didn't get freedom. It took a war. But we are not dealing with a king George, yet.

The tea party then, as now, are not only to serve notice to a repressive government, but also to unite the people.

When ever we see someone shooting at a abortion clinic, those of us who are against abortion are forced to go defense mode instead of offense. I don't think that we want to fight a civil war, unless it is the last hope for freedom.

Keep the passion and save the guns for the last. And only if necessary.

By the way, that reminds me of my new favorite Joke; A man is having lunch with a friend, who is a stock broker. He leans across the table and whispers " OK I know you are not really suppose to say without me paying you a fee, but what is the best investment I can make, at this time". The stockbroker whispers back "food storage and ammunition".

Its a tough call for sure. When we finally say enough and begin the civil disobedience stage you will need to shoot those that come for you and move UP the chain of command from there. Cold hard truth. I would suggest if you ever do decide to take a disobedient stance you plan ahead and make certain they come for you on your turf in manner that is tactically to your advantage. Have a plan man. If you've done it for the right reasons and you live through the first scrape, i can see people being inspired to follow in your footsteps. Then it will be on. The people need a leader.

What are you hearing from the average californian? Do things seem worse than what is being reported? If they are going to issue IOUs to the wellfare bunch you can bet there is going to be probs. Kind of funny issuing IOU's to wellfare junkies. Thats rich.

We live in a resort area of California near the ocean and many of us are feeling the pinch from the economy where we weren't months ago. I think people are very nervous about what is in store for California. Layoffs, business going belly up right and left, etc. and people losing their jobs. I knew things were bad when one of our favorite stores closed their doors just a few weeks ago. It was a thriving Mom and Pop type business that left people in awe while they shopped there. Gone. Closed. The owners left the state.

Being business owners we have had to really alter our life style. As in turn in the Benz and get a VW, sell the house and move into a town home, use our savings to live on. People owe us money, but they just aren't paying. It's never been like this before, ever. I know several people who are just plain angry and scared and want to pack it in and leave. Were all wondering what's in store for Californians in a year from now.

Don't even get me started on how welfare is so abused in this state. I'll scream.

Next year? Next month is not looking good. Hope you can cinch the belt and make things work. To be honest with you I like hearing that you ARE cinching the belt instead of asking for a hand out. Good on you. I love fighters.

I grow up in California and love to go visit every chance I get. I also know that Californians love to party until, there is work to be done. And now it's time to getter done.

I have faith that you all will get it done, but also, I hear the worry in your voice, so to speak.

My father taught me, things will get better or things will get worse, it's up to you.

My grandmother taught you got to have hope, although she never placed her hope in politicians.

Together, we will figure something out. And I wouldn't worry to much about losing your home. With that many foreclosures, it will be a while before they get to your home, (I am trying to be funny, to lighten the mood, so don't everyone go hated on me).
