My son's baptism is today at 5:30.:bouncingclap: I am really proud of him for making the decision to join the church. I have really seen an improvement in his overall attitude in the last several weeks. Big weekend for him. Left yesterday to go on an overnight backpacking/camping trip with the youth of the ward, will be back this afternoon and then the baptism tonight.

Awesome- I know when I would go backpacking, I would come back dirty and disgusting..... sounds like he's gonna get a real deep cleaning this evening. ^_^

Congrats...and I hope that your wife is more accepting of your son's decision.

She has been great about it the last couple days. She was talking to someone a couple days ago and told them that my son and I were just farther along on the journey than she was. I thought that was a good way to look at it. We have all had a very good weekend.

That sounds like a really positive note. Hang in there and just be the best example you can. Hopefully she will just come around. Some have to walk instead of run during their journey.
