mlbrowninwa Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 My son's baptism is today at 5:30. I am really proud of him for making the decision to join the church. I have really seen an improvement in his overall attitude in the last several weeks. Big weekend for him. Left yesterday to go on an overnight backpacking/camping trip with the youth of the ward, will be back this afternoon and then the baptism tonight. Quote
Seanette Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Congratulations to the new Church member-to-be! Quote

mlbrowninwa Posted July 12, 2009 Author Report Posted July 12, 2009 Congrats...and I hope that your wife is more accepting of your son's decision. She has been great about it the last couple days. She was talking to someone a couple days ago and told them that my son and I were just farther along on the journey than she was. I thought that was a good way to look at it. We have all had a very good weekend. Quote
pam Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 That sounds like a really positive note. Hang in there and just be the best example you can. Hopefully she will just come around. Some have to walk instead of run during their journey. Quote
