pam Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 This was hilarious. One of the few that I have actually laughed out loud. Quote
Seanette Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 My husband has come up with some inventive misinterpretations of shopping lists, but not this version, thankfully (good thing I don't number my list or he might have!). At least hers stuck to the list and didn't get a ton of impulse stuff. :) Quote

At least hers stuck to the list and didn't get a ton of impulse stuff. :)Lol, now that would be a womans job. I wonder how many women here will own up to having walked into a store with the intent of purchasing set items, and walk out with every item imaginable apart from the ones they went into the store to buy The youtube clip was quite funny... but wow, her accent! I had to split the video into segments and play each segment a couple of times to understand what she was saying. Quote
beefche Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 I fully admit it, Mahone. It's times like that when I come home with a receipt the length of my arm that I'm glad I don't have a husband to whom to make excuses..... Quote

I have trouble listening to British accents! Quote
john doe Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Even I know better than to do that! Although I always get accused of going outside of the list and buying things I see we need that just happen to be on 'special'. Sorry, but by now she should know that if she only wants what is on the list she should go herself. Quote
dazed-and-confused Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 ok, so maybe it's because i'm a professional cook that i have no problem at the store but my wife does....lol......i loved the youtube and watched a couple more...she is very funny. Quote
pam Posted August 12, 2009 Author Report Posted August 12, 2009 How funny...I had no problem at all with her accent. Quote

Mine are mostly along the lines of "oh yeah, we ARE low on that and I didn't write it down!", his tend to be "oh, that looks good". Quote
