talisyn Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 It snowed last night!! It was rainy most of the night (naturally my window was down). I went to my last break at about 5:15 am and that's when I saw the big beautiful flakes. About 2 hrs later I learned my car tires are not exactly great but I managed to get home. Funny how much better the snow looks if you don't have to go to work for 12 hours Did it snow anywhere else? Quote
Guest Godless Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 No, but it rained like Armageddon last night. Quote
pam Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 Talisyn did you know you can get banned for mentioning that "s" word? Quote

Dravin Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 I like snow actually. This may be a survival mechanism for having grown up in Alaska though. Quote
Mahone Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 I like snow actually. This may be a survival mechanism for having grown up in Alaska though.Me too. Though I do seem to be in a minority. We haven't had any drastic weather around here recently, other than some minor gales. I live in a fairly boring location weatherwise. We are lucky to get snow twice throughout each winter. Quote
Dravin Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Me too. Though I do seem to be in a minority.I think I like 'nasty' weather in general. Once while walking about a sudden hail storm came up (small hail), I couldn't help but grin. I may be broke. Quote
Palerider Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 It was thunder that woke me up this morning. Really loud boom boom boom. for a minute there I thought you were talking about the Chargers...however there would have to be lightning to be the chargers.....the way they are playing there is no lightning....:) Quote
annewandering Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Snow is a dirty word unless it is a screensaver. I have vowed not to go out if there is snow this year. There are some advantages to being old!! My husband measured it. 6 inches of very heavy snow. Any one who llikes it is welcome to come haul it off. Free even. Quote
