pam Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Wow 30 with 6 kids. I bow to you. Welcome to the site. Congrats on going to the temple for the first time. Quote
Joshiewoshie Posted November 5, 2009 Author Report Posted November 5, 2009 I am a LDS forum vet from Nauvoo where I go by the moniker Josh. To be fair my oldest 3 are mine by marriage but spend more time with me. The youngest 3 are certainly mine by blood so to speak. Hobbies I have are Roleplaying, Historical and sci-fi wargaming. Bit of a boardgames nerd with runebound being the flavour of the month. Love painting wargame figures and I am about to start Bachelor of Crimnology and Forensic Psychology. Quote
beefche Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Josh! It's beefche from Nauvoo! Welcome, dude. Hope you enjoy it here. Just tone down the accent a little, ok? Us Americans love that Australian accent, but find it hard to understand sometimes. Quote

Maya Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Welcome! I just had a wonderful week in the Temple, so that si why my hellowqs are a bit late... anyway I hope you enjoy this netsite. So officially: Dear Newbie: Welcome to LDS.net. You will find here an ecclectic mix of LDS and some non-members. While the site is dedicated to the Gospel, and to promoting the Church to a world that often does not understand us, we also make room for conversations about current events, and about social and cultural practices within the Church. If your main desire is to learn about the Church, consider starting with the "Learn About Mormonism" forums. For more advanced teachings, that will often include a variety of perspectives, some non-LDS, consider the Gospel section of forums. While you are welcome to all main sections, be aware this site makes room for a variety of opinions and personalities. Some posters can be passionate about their views, and occasionally more so about them than about the souls of visitors. If you find something particularly offensive, feel free to make a report by clicking the appropriate tab. Quote
