Just_A_Guy Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 That's the message of federal tax policy in conjunction with the current "safety net", as demonstrated by this graph. Quote
HEthePrimate Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 Pshaw! Whatever some dude's graph may say, I don't make anywhere near $45K, and if I didn't work, I'd be homeless and have no regular source of food (though I do know a couple of places in town where one can get occasional free food). I can only speak from my own experience, and I DO have incentive to work. Quote
Palerider Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 (edited) We should all stop working and live off the Gov't and demand stimulus money, then once we get it, we can move to another country like Chrysler Corp did,....:) Edited November 14, 2009 by Palerider so pam would shut up...LOL!!! ADoyle90815 Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 I live in an area where the cost of living is so high, most people have to work in order to have the basics such as food and shelter. Most mothers here do work outside the home because one income isn't enough for those basics here. Quote
