Because the left's positions are indefensible, so better to trash and belittle the questioner than to answer the questions head on with their supposed superior intellect and progressive ideology.

And this is why we can't have nice things around here.

One of these days I would looooove to have a good conversation about the pros and cons of various things like health care reform, but I feel totally backed into a corner and have to defend every little bit of the dem position. I can't even say there are parts of the bills I disagree with because I am not allowed to, because if I do I am a traitor, yet if I don't I'm a commie-socialist-fascist-nazi hate-monger who isn't smart enough to read the whole bill, like poor Moksha. Not only is Moksha a hateful person, he's also stupid? I think you're pretty cool, Moksha, even if you're a penguin.

Wow....someone called you a commie, fascist, nazi, hatemonger.....have you suddenly become a conservative? Those wonderful terms are usually reserved for conservatives and especially for GW Bush.

Here's an idea: don't embrace a position you don't support. Be an American instead of a sheep who follows or defends every position of their party even if you disagree with it.

I'll tell you straight up, I lean to the conservative. That does not mean I am bound to the Republican Party. I can think for myself and form my own opinion on issues. It's allowed. I have never contributed to the Republican Party, nor have I been to any of their meetings. I generally end up voting for them mainly because the Republican candidate more closely reflects my views than the Democrat does. If a Democrat or Libertarian came along whose positions I agree with more than the Republican, I would vote for him. Last election I voted for an independent candidate for governor, not because I thought he had a chance to win, but as a protest vote against the hugely favored Republican whom I had disagreed with politically. The independent candidate more closely fit my beliefs, and I knew he had no chance of winning, but I voted my conscience. My wife laughed at me for my choice, but I did it to stand on principle, not to kowtow to what others say I should do.

Be an American and stand up for what you think is right, not what you think others expect you to do. If you disagree with portions of the healthcare bill, stand up and say so. If you agree with portions, go ahead and say so and tell why you think it's the right thing to do. No one will think less of you for thinking for youself. Mocks Ya's hate talk has gotten under my skin because he has taken to attacking the messengers who disagree with his POV without bothering to point out why or how he thinks they are wrong. He has attacked the person, not their thoughts and ideas. Don't attack the person, attack the position, and explain why, and you will find more middle ground where we can agree than where we disagree.

I like O'Reilly. I find that he at least attempts to offer an opposing view on his program. He often has debates with liberals who have a completely opposite views to his views.

I like Glenn, but his dramatics and "entertainment" gets on my nerves quite quickly. But, he raises a lot of valid concerns. He makes sense to me. He makes me start to wonder about things. I would like for him to have more opposing views on his show--but as he has said, he's a thinker and entertainer.

Not sure how the 2 of them will be on this tour. I would go (take my brother who really likes Glenn), but nothing nearby. Noticed that 2 of the sites have sold out. So, it sounds like a money maker and could potentially allow for more tour dates in the future.

Oh, forgot what I was actually going to post about.

I honestly don't know of a liberal talk show host that I like to listen/watch. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would like to explore the other side more to see if I can find truth that I can embrace.

So in this example I get to play the Kettle?

You know, I can do that rather well by turning my avatar around backwards while kneeling and bowing my head.
