Brand New...but not so new?

Hi I've just joined the site!!! I've actually been reading forums for a month or so now..so I'm a little late I guess But better late than never!

I'm an old fashioned girl living in Illinois and I love the church. I've been a member my whole life. I'm actually leaving to serve a mission in Utah near the end of this month (I might actually be set apart a couple weeks early because my sister-in-laws grandma is passing away and her funeral might be next week).

I love being a missionary already and am so excited to get to serve as a full time missionary. I love music (I play piano and sing, and played cello for a few years). And I love reading. My favorite book is An Old Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott

So I'm here for however long I'm here.

I am so excited for you! Going on a mission will be one of the hardest, most rewarding parts of your life. A lot of people need you and going to Utah, you'll help a lot of people. Congratulations. :)

The Utah Provo Mission I lived there for 5 years and moved away just before putting my papers in.

I'm so excited because I know that this is where the Lord needs me...apparently He's been needing me there for a while, so I'm glad to go back!

Hi oldfashionedgirl and do feel welcome! My son is on mision now and I hope he si doing fine. He sent me a mail today which I have not been able to read as I cant get in my mail...
