rren Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Very cool you are investigating the Church. I walked your same path 12 years ago. You can hear why I decided to join the Church here if you'd like: Quote
ignaciagirl Posted January 31, 2010 Author Report Posted January 31, 2010 Thank you. I'll check it out. Tomorrow I'm won't be able to attend church. I have some family things to take care of.Things have been going to fast and I need to step back. I think I got scared when they asked me if iwas going to be baptized. Quote
rren Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 I know where you are coming from. The missionaries asked me to be baptized the very first time I met with them and I thought it was strange. If you are led to join the church, it will become clear to you. Don't worry about it one bit and just trust in God. If its meant to be, you will feel it. If not... Quote
ignaciagirl Posted January 31, 2010 Author Report Posted January 31, 2010 Thank you everyone for your kindness. Today I didn't attend either church( I sit with my in laws at their luthern church) I needed a personal space breather. I did miss going, but need to get myself togher a bit more before I go back. Maybe next week. I felt better hearing the story about how they asked about baptism at your first meeting. Quote
bytebear Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 Welcome, and know that the baptism invitation is always there, but only when you decide. Take as much time as you need. Quote
