attention, I saw on the net a scam in the book of Mormon, do not buy it is free.

It isn't free from our local distribution centre. Are you sure this is a scam?

Yeah, while one can obtain it for free for Missionary purpose not everywhere that puts a price tag on it is trying to scam you. The Church eats the cost when handing them out, places like Deseret Book or the Distribution Center don't, though the later does eat shipping inside of the US.

Additionally, Doubleday publishes a nice version of it (with licensing and permission from the Church), that -- last I knew -- sells for around $25.

I wouldn't doubt that there are places that will try to sell anything for a profit, but as mentioned there are legitimate outlets.

That does look like a rather basic copy so is a bit expensive compared to what you'd pay at the Distribution Centre.

I would love to know how too because when I use Babelfish I get some rubbish translations but that looked like it made excellent sense.

I thought the translation was really cool. Now I want to learn French so I can sound like that :)
