Why is it that we all have two ears and one mouth, but we say twice as much as we hear?

  1. 1. Why is it that we all have two ears and one mouth, but we say twice as much as we hear?

    • Because I'm right and the listener is wrong
    • Because I'm wrong and don't want the listener to realize it
      0
    • Because S/he's right, and I don't want to admit it
      0
    • Because I like the sound of my voice
    • Because I don't like the sound of your voice
      0
    • Because we're sinners saved by grace, but we're still struggling against our sinful inclinations
    • Because there is an element of truth in all of the above answers
    • OR...WHO ME? I DON'T DO THAT!

We have two ears to give us the ability to know where sound is coming from. The term stereo means 3 dimensional.

We have one mouth so we won't eat and talk at the same time. :) Also - we cannot argue with our spouse and kiss at the same time. :)

Oooooo, I really like that answer!

Because we tend to Broadcast rather than communicate.
