FunkyTown Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 People are injecting bath salts in to their body? You know? At this point, I think legality simply can't keep up with all the advances in chemistry being made. There has to be a social change, rather than a legal one. If it becomes socially unacceptable to inject bath salts, aromatherapy crystals or soy sauce, fewer people will partake. Quote
pam Posted November 17, 2010 Author Report Posted November 17, 2010 They are snorting them. Talk about "cleaning" out the sinuses. Quote
hordak Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 If they didn't jump the gun and ban "Mormon tea" aka ephedra they wouldn't have this problem. Half joking half serious. Seriously though i think the desire to "get high" as in release endorphins is as natural as the desire to breath or eat, unfortunately some chose more unsafe ways and extreme ways, meth vs exercise, but that the harder they come down on "safer ways" the more dangerous ways people will seek. E.G. Getting marijuana is risky, but snorting drano is safe, "legally speaking. " Like funky say they need to focus on social change, rather then continuing to ban highs "forcing" people to seek more risky alternatives. Then again i don't think injecting bath crystals will ever be socially unacceptable Of course that doesn't mean they shouldn't ban products of ligament risk. Quote
HoosierGuy Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Yes, this kind of thing is happening here in Indiana. Some county around me keeps banning synthetic drugs. They give it a strange name like K99 or something. That gets banned and they come out with K102. That gets banned and they come out with K105. It just never stops. It's sort of funny seeing the sheriff on TV saying he wants the newest one banned. I strongly fear the authorities and politicians will pass so many laws to stop these synthetic drugs that those laws will start to infringe on the rights of us who do not break the law. pam Posted November 17, 2010 Author Report Posted November 17, 2010 It's really a shame that they get baned. Quote
Guest Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 One of the biggest hit to democracy in the United States is the formation of the DEA. Yes, you can quote me on that. Quote
JThimm88 Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Snorting bath salt... that sounds like it'd really hurt. Can't say if I were addicted to meth that this would be the way I'd want to get my high. Yikes. Quote
applepansy Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 what idiot thinks of these things? Quote
