beefche Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Maybe not, dahlia. I still keep in contact with the missionary who taught me when I was 8 years old (I had to wait 10 yrs to get baptized as my dad was against it). That was many, many moons ago. It can happen. In fact, that missionary helped me financially with my mission. Quote
bytebear Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Well, I am having dinner with them this weekend with a family. I will ask their names. I am so grateful that I can keep in contact with them afterward, though I imagine it will fade over time.Facebook. Quote
dahlia Posted December 5, 2010 Author Report Posted December 5, 2010 Facebook.I am a professor, trained in the intricacies of online search. I don't teach search (yes, there are classes in that - grad level no less), but it is part of my field. Trust me, I have looked all over the internet, forwards and back for the names. Quote

dahlia Posted December 18, 2010 Author Report Posted December 18, 2010 Well, I found out the missionary's first name and was able to send him a Christmas present at his new location. I feel better. : ) Quote
Wingnut Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 I'm glad, dahlia. I know that was important to you. Have you settled on a date for your baptism yet? Quote
