Iggy Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Hola. Feeling naive... what's a geo-bachelor? I googled it:How to Survive Military Geographical Bachelor Status | eHow.comGeographic bachelors are married active duty military members who take assignments at a distance from their spouses and offspring. They learn quickly there is no painless adjustment when you are permanently separated from the ones you love. It isn't any easier for their spouses and kids, either. But with some advanced preparation, it is possible to survive such an unnatural way of life. How can you be a bachelor when your profile says you are single? Quote
yokomanw6 Posted January 22, 2011 Author Report Posted January 22, 2011 My bad, thank you for pointing that out, ouch! when I created the profile I slipped up and thought I corrected the setting a few hours after reviewing my profile but I dont think I hit save on the edit, hopefully it is changed now. The definition above describes my situation out here well enough. been here since Nov. You go through an emotional down period for about 2-3 months where the seperation and learning new work environment overwhelms. I think I am just coming out of this period. Thank Heavens for Skype.
