lost123
I have an appointment with the Bishop. It isn't on a Sunday. Do I wear church dress or is it okay to go in street clothes?

dahlia
I went for a personal interview one evening the other week. The bishop just wanted to see how I was doing. I wore casual clothes, but put on makeup and for that special touch, I wore my contacts. : )

Vort
Dress like you're going to Church. If you aren't in a position to dress as for Church, do what you would do if you had to go to Church dressed less nicely than normal: Clean up as best you can and just go. The bishop is not likely to care much what you're wearing.
applepansy
Depends on how much notice I have. If possible I wear Sunday best. If I have 15 minutes to get there....well, wash my hands and face and show up. :)
MarginOfError
1) be reverent 2) be comfortable For a mid-week interview, I'd be unlikely to wear what I wear to Church, and more likely to wear what I wear to work.
Guest saintish
Most of the time if its a mid week interview my bishop doesn't even wear church clothes! Just_A_Guy
I try for Sunday best as a mark of respect, but I doubt most bishops would notice or care. FWIW, a couple months ago I showed up for a TR interview in my scout uniform (had just gotten out of Scouts and didn't have time to go home and change). Wasn't a problem.
