Would it be rude of my brother to post upon the internet mission photos of a current media heart throb/former mission companion who is not currently living up to his LDS standards?

If his intent is to shame said companion, then I think that would be wrong. If his intent is to share treasured memories in photographs, then no, I think it would not be wrong. If his intent is to cash in (monetarily or otherwise) on his comp's fame, then I think he should move on to other things.

I'm still trying to read my brother's motive from when he considered doing this. My brother loves to do things mereley to be a pest... not to seek out fame or anything. Though I do worry "shame" might be part of the pesty motivation.

Perhaps this chart from the Family Home Evening Resource Book can provide some perspective. It gives a comparison on ways we ought and ought not to deal with those who aren't living the gospel by differentiating between the Lord's way and Satan's way of doing things.
