Toby Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Hi all, I'm a convert that has been inactive for 9 years and have just returned back to my ward. I'm married and have grown children but I'm the only member in my family. It felt good to be back. While I was inactive the missionaries would still stop by my home once a month. It was those visits and the fact that they never gave up on me that made me want to come back. Toby Quote
Heber13 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Good to meet you. What's some of the main reasons you want to come back. It must have been easier to just not go, but those darn missionaries bring the spirit, don't they? Quote
Toby Posted July 20, 2012 Author Report Posted July 20, 2012 Hi Heber13, It just seemed like all the reasons I became inactive are now gone or no longer important. So I went back. Toby Quote

kartvines Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 I was not active for more than 40 years and started back again recently only after the passing of my wife, but the High Priest Home teacher who stopped by each month for years help me feel as if I was still connected in some small way. Toby Posted July 21, 2012 Author Report Posted July 21, 2012 (edited) Something like that but it wasn't anything I did. I was temple worthy when I left. I was 1st counselor in RS at the time. Edited July 21, 2012 by Toby Quote
