They should wait until mid-November and if no one comes forward and paints them in a Christmas theme they could put an ad in the paper asking for the 'vandals' to come back and do it again. Or, just ask the public for volunteers to paint if the trust buys the paint and supervises. It is pretty flattering that people are inspired to be creative with the cows. They have turned from a static art form to ever changing. Who knows. Maybe the artist does this. The cows were painted by the son of the man who made these copies of the originals. He did it to honor his father who died a few years ago..
