Backroads
So today was my Vine Day (the day when the reviewers of the Amazon Vine program get to pick stuff from a list) and instead of the traditional pick of two items, I got to pick 4 things! That's pretty awesome. And yet, on the Vine forum, there were still people complaining about "there's nothing good." For crying out loud, you can pick up to four free items and you're not even required to pick anything. But good day for me!Ooh, and my pick included a new Brandon Mull book for those who are fans. Backroads
Oh I get it. I guess I'm just old fashioned. I use a vacuum cleaner and a thing called a mop. :)You're not old-fashioned. You're a hipster. Sooner or later, vacuums and mops will be cool again. Mark my words.
Guest
My students had their piano recital tonight, and it went great! Most of all, I'm done with recital preparations til next year! Woot! A little side benefit, though this wasn't my intent, was that I had it in our neighborhood church building, and thus got some of our non-LDS friends/neighbors into a church building. I didn't think that would ever happen. They seemed comfortable there and we had a nice long chat when it was over. Did I mention that I'm DONE WITH RECITAL? Sunday21
The snow is finally beginning to melt. My neighbour dug out my driveway. A relative who is in an abusive marriage is making plans to escape. A friend who is unemployed had a positive job interview. My doctor phoned me today - gasp- that never happens here. Wingnut
I made a fresh batch of granola tonight.I tried Zumba for the first time this morning (finally!!) with a "step by step" intro DVD from the library. Yes, I got a workout just learning and trying each of the basic steps for a only few minutes each.
