BAPTISM- Makeup?

Hi,

I realize this sounds so trivial, but if anyone can forgive that and let me know if after I'm baptized, I may be able to have time afterwards to put quick powder and lipgloss?? I'm planning on bringing a hair cream so my thick, curly hair doesn't turn into a frizz ball when I return to everyone afterwards. :).

I'm not familiar with the dressing rooms...are they just bathrooms?? Will my husband and I have separate ones? Do I leave my bag with the towel and hair cream in the dressing room?

thanks!! :)

In most of the buildinga I've been in for baptisms, there is an entrance on each side that comes from the bathroom. One side the mens and one side the women's. So you won't be in the same bathroom.

You would just leave your things in the bathroom while you are baptized. That why they are all right there when you come from the font to change into dry clothes. And yes you have time to put on some makeup quickly. Everyone waits until you are ready to come back in and join them.

I have baptism makeup down pat! If you are worried about time, you can be baptized in your makeup. The trick is foundation primer, setting spray (if you dont have setting spray, very very lightly close your eyes and use hairspray) and waterproof mascara. Dont wipe your face with a towel, just pat it dry. I do this every time I go to the temple for baptisms. There just isnt enough time ever to redo my face...and amazingly, the makeup still looks fresh.
