Sunday21 Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 I have heard of many similar cases and was ripped off myself when I was new to the church. Now I refer all hard luck cases to the bishop. If they tell me they are too embarrased to talk to the bishop, I tell them to get humility. Quote
Guest Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 The fact that he's Mormon isn't really relevant, except that if he's covenanted in the Temple he has more to answer for. He's a liar and a cheat, and you bought it. There are cheaters and liars in every group and sect in the world. Quote

I agree religion is not the issue here, the guy is a dirt bag and he took advantage of the OP nightcrawler1977 1 Quote
FunkyTown Posted June 24, 2014 Report Posted June 24, 2014 What I'm not sure here is: Why log in to an LDS website to complain about a specific LDS person? Would you log in to a Catholic website if you felt a Catholic ripped you off, or an Atheist website if you felt an Atheist ripped you off? Or, for that matter, a young adult writer's website if a young adult writer ripped you off? I'm not sure what the purpose of posting these sorts of things on this website was supposed to do. There are tens of millions of LDS members in the world. We don't have some sort of Mormon Hotline for reporting people. Backroads and nightcrawler1977 2 Quote
