Sunday21 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Genealogy. Sigh. I have to write to elderly relatives to get some info before they drop off the perch. On the bright side I hired someone to type in about 500 individuals from a nonmormon genealogy system into the church's system.Decorating. Someday when I have money, I am going to hire someone to decorate my hovel. On the other hand, the longer I live here, the less i notice the the ugliness! Maybe I should just ignore it!I should try to do my visiting teaching in the first week of the month. Quote

PolarVortex Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Don't procrastinate. Be creative. I have lazy cousins who found a novel way to solve their nasty problem of stained walls that need repainting. (They move to a new apartment.) As for genealogy... last Saturday night I was in another part of the U.S. and had dinner with a 90-year-old relative whose grandfather (my great-great-grandfather) was born in 1839. (She was the last of 13 children.) The thought of my speaking to someone who knew someone else born 175 years ago was pretty staggering. Quote
