I knew about Hanson because I was the mother of kids and I listened to the radio in the late '90s.  When I first saw them in a music video I actually thought the middle boy (Taylor) was a girl. But then I also thought that Boy George was a girl when I first saw him. I didn't wear glasses yet (Boy George era), so that's my excuse.
