I was serving in the military when I joined the Church, and since also married with kids...there would be no traditional mission for Bro and Sis Lee. I had always wanted to serve with my wife, but health problems have made it not practical, unless we do a local mission here in Atlanta.

But, I feel that I have become a missionary. I was reading an article about the size of theChurch at different times. Well when I joined the Church while living in (what was then, (West Germany) in 1979, ther were around 4,000,000 members at that time. I was given teaching opportunities while living for almost three there and our branch grew.

Uopon returning to the Satates (Georgia) I was still teaching, gospel essentials and gospel dctrine, for almost 25 years. I have seen many baptized and seem many others baptized by other, I feel like a missionary. I have served more than once as a Ward Missionary, and baptized even more. Not not has the Church ncteased 4 fold Nationwide, but also here in Georgia.

So do I need to try a service mission with bad health. Or just enjoy the service I have wrendered.

Great question; however, it will be question that is between you and the Lord. Have you counseled with your bishop and stake president regarding your desire to serve and your other thoughts?

Anddenex nailed it, as always: take this question to the Lord.  Maybe He needs you where you are, helping people who are brought in by others.  Or maybe He needs you elsewhere, and a mission is the way to get you there.  If that's the case, the Lord will provide a way for it to work.  I think it's all about where the people who need you happen to be.  And only the Lord knows that.

Health problems now, makes it almost impossible. I can hardly walk anymore, I have attended Church for on Sacrament meeting in 3 Months. I fear my diabities has already taken it toll on my right foot, just 6 months before my 60th birthday, when I had planned to submit my papers. I fear my time is past.

Then if through disability we are unable to serve, truly serve, the Lord will reward our desires. If a proselyting mission is all you are looking into then you could be correct. Speak with your bishop and stake president to see if there are other missions that will be compatible with your disability. If not, at least we know the Lord takes into consideration the desires of our hearts.

Nothing is impossible: https://www.lds.org/ensign/2016/10/serving-while-living-with-disabilities?lang=eng

There may be a service mission within your physical capacity. And if not, enjoy the service you are rendering and hope to continue with whatever the Lord has blessed you.

Here's another inspiring talk on the subject: https://www.lds.org/ensign/2016/11/saturday-afternoon-session/sharing-the-restored-gospel?lang=eng Your attitude of love will determine your mission. "Third, we can pray for inspiration on what we can do in our individual circumstances to share the gospel with others."

Thank You, it was my honor. Not to mention while stationed in (then) West Germany, I found the Gospel and joined the Church. Then finally seal in the Swiss Temple to my wife and (at that time) two children.
