Hello. Am I going to Hell?

If any post called for the sin of responding to questions with questions, this one does.  Do you believe you are going to hell?  More directly, do you believe in God...a particular religion...a higher power that would have you abstain from such activities?  If you were an active member of the LDS faith there would certainly be difficult actions, included sincere repentance, for having multiple partners.  Likewise for most of Protestant and Catholic Christianity, Islam, and Orthodox Judaism.  So, tell us more about your situation, your beliefs, etc., and perhaps we can offer some useful counsel.

Do you have complete knowledge of Jesus Christ?  Did you reject him?

If you answered Yes to both questions, then you just might go to hell.

If you're not sure about your answer, then nope.  You can't possibly go to hell.  But that doesn't mean you're not heading towards a whole lot of hurt.  Learn about God, Christ, His Atoning Sacrifice. the Plan of Happiness and His Convenants.  Then see if you can work towards getting closer to Christ.  Don't worry about going to hell.  Life on Earth is hard enough... Christ's promise is - if you come closer to Him, you will be that much closer to Happiness on Earth and in Heaven.

This is your introductory post, huh?  Well, pleased to meet you too.

No, there's nothing wrong with that.  I see all kinds or men and women all the time.  At work, at church, at school, on TV and magazines.... OH!  you mean in a sexual manner?  That's different.  Just kidding.

I'll give you as straight an answer as possible.  In return I ask you not to quibble about details and exceptions and blah blah blah.  This is just a general answer, ok?

In the LDS faith, the general understanding is that only a small percentage of people are actually going to "hell". We also believe in multiple levels of heaven.  So, to us it is a greater possibility that you're going to a lower level of heaven.

Same sex attraction is simply a trait or tendency that you have.  It doesn't define you.  But engaging in the activity is a choice.  That choice is the sin. The same goes for poly-amory.  That is also considered a sin.

Depending on how and what you do for either homosexual or heterosexual or bisexual activities, they could fall into the categories of adultery and fornication.  Such sexual sins have been called "sins next to murder" in severity.  This would put you in the lowest level of heaven.

Does that answer your question?
