Guest Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 (edited) When talking about God, I always use the terms either Heavenly Father, Father in Heaven, or the Father, because I feel He wants to be referred to as a loving Heavenly parent. I don't often say God, I never say Elohim because I think that's more of a sacred name. I would never say the Creator like some people say because that seems too vague. I don't say the Lord because I feel Jesus is the Lord. I feel comfortable only saying Heavenly Father. If I ever type God on here it's because I'm trying to save typing time by not fully spelling out Heavenly Father. How do you refer to Him? Edited April 27, 2017 by Zarahemla Quote
person0 Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 I make it a specific point to only ever refer to Him as Ahman. Especially when talking to muggles, I mean. . . non-members. mordorbund and Vort 2 Quote

JohnsonJones Posted May 9, 2017 Report Posted May 9, 2017 I am very cognizant of the commandment that we should not take his name in vain. Because of that, I tend to skirt around specific names, and utilize terms that are more general and still respectful. it can be a delicate balance on my part in regards to ME (and only me in this regard).
