Yeah, again, tell me what brand of phone you've got, and what would happen if you didn't have one at all. I mean, yes, the implant stuff is an order of magnitude greater of course. But if you would truly experience zero socially-mandated issues by going smart-phone-less, if you have truly not entered a single bit of personal information into your phone, then you're numbered among a rapidly decreasing segment of first (and 2nd and even 3rd) world society. I mean, tell me I'm wrong here... You aren't wrong, but the difference here is that I can always leave my phone behind if I choose to. Or toss it off a bridge. I never take it into church with me on Sunday. It's not so simple when you have an implant.

Not only that, but when I really want some privacy like when I'm going to meet my drug dealer or my mistress... oh, wait. Did I say that out loud? I mean, tell me I'm wrong here... You're wrong here. Actually, I don't have Siri because I'm worried about privacy. I also find it to be a waste. It's a novelty item, nothing more. I can just activate my phone and look things up myself and get more accurate results. When I go out, I have my GPS default set to "off" unless I'm actively using a GPS app. The search app on my phone cannot possibly be storing all voice data throughout the day because of bandwidth and storage limitations. So, that's not happening by phone I'm not really doing things that take a lot of thought or effort to do and I maintain a comfortable level of privacy. Unix is right. The biggest thing is that you can't shut off an implant or leave it at home. There would be no choice. Do you really think it would take much impetus to require these implants in parolees instead of ankle bracelets? And why do people essentially want to strap themselves with a "wrist bracelet" with similar privacy issues? It's like people wanting to live in a jail.
