The direction this has taken seems similar to a thread I started not quite 2 years ago:

Elder Scott was invoked early with a statement that seemed to support a "our Father God created everything we can ever hope to see" model. There was a round of discussion into Kolob theorem type models (God created our galaxy, another being created the Andromeda galaxy, and so on) kind of model, but that did not seem well received. We did not really discuss the possibility of an eternally existing universe without beginning, our discussion pretty much assumed the observable universe had a beginning. I know I am uncomfortable with the idea that I can see beyond God's creation with my simple telescopes (based on pre - Joseph Smith technologies).

I would note: @Rob Osborn that it seems that most on this forum prefer a "god is the creator of all of the observable universe (even the hypothetical stuff that is beyond our current technology)" model.

Parley Pratt created an interesting model of how G-ds control and govern the universe.  The patter is interesting and somewhat resembles the organization of the Church.  His example resembled a tree where branches come off the trunk and smaller branches coming off of the man branch.  He indicated at where a branch was connected to the tree that a G-d (like unto the Father or the Son) would reside over the branch and everything under it.  This resembles the organization of the church with the First Presidency and Quorum of the twelve - then We have the seven quorums of 70's (area authorities) then stake presidents then bishops.

Now I want to show a pitcher

This is a picture developed by NASA from a recent project of mapping the universe - They discovered that our Milky Way Galaxy is part of a super-cluster they called Laniakea.  In the picture our galaxy is where the red dot is placed.  Note how a super cluster resembles a tree with branches - main branches with smaller branches attached.  Weather Elder Parley was speaking with personal opinion or divine revelation - I leave that problem to be solved by the reader.  But his description has an interesting relationship to Laniakea.

When Jesus spoke to the Pharisees in the Gospel of John he says something interesting - in essence calling the Pharisees g-ds.  So I add my opinion that I believe Jesus to be a G-d and creator of not just our solar system - or even our galaxy but of a very bright branch showing on this super-cluster.  And it is quite possible that when Jesus spoke of g-ds he was referencing those who had assisted in creation of unnumbered stars and planets throughout unnumbered galaxies.

I thought to add an additional thought - currently that are thousands of super-clusters -- and perhaps even more  But there is something else.  With all this NASA has determined that what we see is only 5% of our universe - there is 95% more unseen than what is seen.

And all I can hear is barking from😃  your side of the fence

That makes perfect sense given that you interpret the word "open" to mean "closed."

I love you man

Your the best. However, since I can't keep from misbehaving with you, and @Traveler  seem adept at carrying on a decent exchange with you, I will leave interactions with you to him.  Have a blessed day.

Thanks, -wade Englund-
