NeuroTypical Posted April 3, 2020 Report Posted April 3, 2020 'twas merely a light laugh. The headline gave some folks thoughts that the mayor of NY advising residents to stick paper bags over their heads because they ugly. I first read this novella in a Heinlein short-story compendium of some sort that I read in high school, probably, or maybe it was as an undergrad at BYU. Something about the weirdness of the story appealed to me on a deep, visceral level. It has remained a favorite through the years. Welcome, noble n00bie Carb! May I call you Carb? Glad to have you!
