Straight to UC Berkeley. It comes from Spencer Kimball’s 1975 BYU Address. https://speeches.byu.edu/talks/spencer-w-kimball/second-century-brigham-young-university/ In the address President Kimball quotes Henry David Thoreau, “There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.” I have only witnessed the stern lecturing of branches, and a few branches hacked off. Deion Sanders has convinced me that he has both the will and ability to use an axe. Fortunately, we have people in the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS that have the credentials and power to make change. I’d like to see it.
