Well, here it is Monday Morning [7.10am UK time] and I still cannot get on the MADB Site. Still the same error coming up. [Last time I was on was Saturday morning]. Could some one please get me the Webmasters email so I can contact them. Thank you.

I like reading it. It's a good place to think. I've only just discovered it and haven't had the opportunity to read much. Uncle Dale is a 'little out there' at times.

I tried it for awhile. Was warned "it gets rough" there. What I wasn't warned about, was some of the roughest players there are members of the church(!!!) Too many self righteous know-it-alls there, IMHO. It became pointless when I had a harder time defending my opinions/ideas/thoughts to other church members than I've ever had with non-members.

Not as far as I am aware. Never had problems before with virus software, and its only the MADB site that is affected.

Tried through NOM. No go!

As I said, I can get on to all my other discussion sites. Even manually entering in the address doesn't work.

So I guess I will have to await some kind soul who can get me the webmaster's & administrators email addresses.

If you're trying to access MADB through ex-Mormon sites or even NOM it won't work. They have banned such sites from accessing them. Here's another suggestion which may be a wild card.

Go to the MABD link at FAIR and click on that: http://www.fairlds.org/links.html That link won't be blocked.

I think it may be that someone who uses your ISP may have been banned from MADB. In that case contacting an Admin at MADB is the only way to undo it.

Tried that. Still won't let me on. Hubby suggested that I send email to [email protected] but even that failed. I got back the following from mailer Daemon@yahoo:

Cass, you're not missin' much anyway. Sorry I can't make any further recommendations. This site is far more interesting. So far it doesn't seem to have the Inquisitorial tendencies of MADB. Of course, I could be living in some kind of arbitrary eggshell, represented by an ostrich subathing at Bondi. Posting on MADB isn't important. This board seems better, so far. Heck, even Mok can post here!

Just to let you know that MADB contacted me, and after sending them the info. they required, they fixed the problem.

It appears some addys [whatever they are] had been changed by my service provider.

You'll find me there, as Maidservant. I enjoy both MADB and FAIR. As flyonthewall said, it's a rough and tumble place, not exactly where you might want to send someone tender in the gospel. On the other hand, I can't think of any obscure question that hasn't been brought up and 'posted' to death for anyone who thinks they need or want to know everything about everything -- the supposedly "deep, dark secrets" of the Mormon church! :)

You are absolutely correct. As to the DEEP DARK secrets, they cannot even agree on simple principles, let alone something that beyond the Celestial Kingdom?
