In To Trubble?

My husband said he know I get in to trubble.

He had to be on duty this weekend so he is only home for one day this week, and then I wont see him till next weekend.

I went out to buy every thing for a BBQ for him for father’s day, every thing he likes and then some.

I stopped back in to the Liberal Headquarters in town, and before I know it I offered my home and yard for a meet and greet the Liberal (Democrat in the US) candidate.

So I stopped at the Canada Tire (hardware super store) bought weed and feed to kill off all the dandelion and flags for my window boxes.

I cannot believe that the Liberals may loose this election. Polls are running 50 -50 right now.

If Conservative party gets in all those right wing religious nuts will have a foot hold in the government  and women's rights will go back thirty years, not to mention they have made promises that cant be done. They also want to dismantle our heath care system and make it a have and have not heath care system.

I finger I could do more then just place a sign on my lawn and vote. There is no way I am going to sit by and watch that Conservative (Republicans) get in.

Watching the Canadian government kiss Bush Jr backside

Is not the Canada I live in.

Canada is not going to say Yesa Master every time the Whitehouse say so.

My husband just called and when I told him what I volunteered for he said, “I know you find something to keep your self-busy or in to trubble".

Oh well now I have something to scramble around for and it will make my days go faster.

So some time this next coming week my yard will be crawling with military members and people who live close to the base. I told them to call me on Monday to set a date that’s my first day back to work since my surgery.

I wonder if I have taken on too much?

TROUBLE

Hubba Bubba, no trubba.

Winnie, this is my suggestion to you. If you are going to post such a screwball political comentary, it would only help your (lost) cause if you took the time to make it look like a 6th grader didn't write it.

I understand that you have some condition that results in whatever your writing results in but your ideas look enough like a 6th graders without the spell check. A spell check can only help your cause.

On the other hand, she kind of does somewhat prove the theory that liberals pander to the uneducated. Being a victim of the poor American education system, it is only natural that she would buy into the idea that now that she must support those who will tell her how bad life is for her and how much better her life would be if the rest of us would compensate her for it. Or, maybe the Canadian socialist system that she so proudly supports doesn't have an adult education program.

Oh boy if you believe that of Winnie you really haven't read much on this board. Winnie is one of the strongest women that I have had the pleasure of knowing. And looking for "handouts?" That one is funny. Not Winnie. But if you need a "hand UP" she is the first one there.

Maybe you should go back and read some of her posts and insight about things. I am thinking you could learn a bunch from them.

Thank you Marsha.

I could care less if some members bash my spelling; it also has to do with some of the differences in spelling between counties as well.

I'm not writing here to show off my lack of spelling skills.

It cant be too bad, its only the up tight knickers twisters that get upset.

I can’t be that bad off since I make good living and sit on the General Board of the company I work for and hold a set on the community counsel.

If I was hired for my spelling skills, that would be grate loss.

I was hired to be the battalions move support coordinator, as well as all community events. I also do corporate fund raising. Yup dumb as dirt!

PS It might help if you read as if someone is talking that is how I write.

I was shocked the other evening when I found the C party platform as well as their over all mandate not much I did not know but I almost fell of my set when I read that if brought to power the party wishes to change the parliament so it can over turn a supreme court of Canada!

I guess you can see why I would be drive to make a diffrice.

Winnie,

No country on earth spells the way you do and for someone who doesn't want to show off their lack of spelling skills, you sure make a point of doin just that.

I don't believe in any sense at all that you are dumb. My point is that you are very opinionated and some of your opinions are just plain looney. Combine the looniness with the poor spelling, the bad grammar, the atrocious punctuation, the awful syntax, the incomplete sentences and you have has a message that looks, to the very people you are trying to convince, to be the ravings of a grade-school refugee who forgot to take her meds.

If you want to be persuasive, then take a moment, show some common courtesy, proof your post and spell check it.

I, for one, don't mean to be rude, but sometimes the message of your post is lost because of so many mistakes. I understand that some people have problems with spelling - maybe because of dyslexia or some other affliction. But I don't think you realize the number of mistakes you make, and how your message gets lost with it. If it would be helpful, I can proofread your original post so you can see what I'm talking about. Sometimes our challenges (of which I have a'plenty!) require that we take extra steps to overcome them. Maybe it would be worth copying and pasting each post into Word and doing at least a quick spell-check before you post it to the board.

I really mean this in a constructive way... not mean-spirited!

I never said Winnie is not a strong person. It was she who blamed her poor spelling skills on the U.S. education system. Sounded to me like she was looking for something to blame instead of actually going out and trying to better herself by learning to spell and write properly. Which IS a tactic of liberals, a group she proudly associates with. Liberals have this habit of telling people how things are not their fault, they just need more money from the citizens so the government can ease their pain. And the best way to do that is to tax the people who actually provide a valuable product or service and give that money to non-productive people who won't make themselves better.

As far as learning from her, I'm sure I could, if only her posts were readable and made some sort of sense. There are many wonderful people out there, but the ones who make an impact are the ones who can communicate effectively with others. I agree with Snow's comments on this one.

"Handouts"? Where did I mention that?

Ok Guys good for you I think you made your point, unlike some people I deal with and other members of this board just deal with it and my learning disability with understanding and grace.

Sorry if I some how inflict my self on you, if you don’t like it don’t read it?

That's a poor excuse. How about showing some common courtesy and actually proofing and spellchecking your material.

I actually kind of like Winnie's free-lance spelling for the comic relief. Hearing about Bush being "argent" gives me this image of a silver-plated president.

I Like WINNIE!

When I first came to LDS Talk I misspelled a few words and I was also "put down” for it by "he with many names". I was very offended that I was being belittled for my spelling (I was not as strong as Winnie). Now for the most part I copy and past my posts into word and do a spell check before I post it.

My feeling on something trivial like this is "He who is without sin (faults) cast the first stone".

Why must we become like roosters who peck at another who has an open wound?
