When God had no regard for his fruit-of-the-ground offering, Cain became angry. What did God tell Cain was lying at the door that he must rule over?

  • Satan
  • Sin
  • Pride
  • Woman

Sin (and Cain would rule over Satan).

Genesis reads that God told Cain, "And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.". Clearly there is something missing in the account. Through modern revelation we know that this is what was said:

If thou doest well, thou shalt be accepted. And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door, and Satan desireth to have thee; and except thou shalt hearken unto my commandments, I will deliver thee up, and it shall be unto thee according to his desire. And thou shalt rule over him; (Moses 5:23)

Correct! You are good at this Vanhin :) As we read in Gen. 4:7 "If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him."

God expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden so that they would not:

  • meet up with the serpent again.
  • eat of the Tree of Life
  • eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
  • Start global warming.

Good job Hemi,

Eat of the Tree of Life and live forever (Gen. 3:22) is correct. They were corrupted by sin and maybe this no longer made them fit for immortality. I do not know which direction I'd guess toward the exit though. :)

ok.. this is a crazy reference of course.... Zechariah 5:1-2

1. Then I looked, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

and this was not just any rolll... this was a HUGE roll..

2. And he said unto me, What sest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length therof is 20 cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

it must have taken quite a few people to lob that one... lol

hahaha-sometimes more painful Willow?

If a man lent money to a fellow Hebrew who was poor, he was not allowed to (found in Ex. 22):

  • collect it back
  • charge interest
  • set a time limit on repayment
  • send him to collections
