Hi I have this belief that i don't expect God too answer my prayers(or maybe I do unintentionally) but not much a suprise , He does and "always" gives me the answer when I least expect it , I sometimes give my prayers and I wonder to myself OK lord I TRUST YOU my faith is built on TRUSTING HIM but I don't expect any reply Unless/when he does I have learnt too rely on HIS time and HIS revelation when I told some friends from Church about this most commented that its really strange belief even one close friend mentioned "I am becoming a mainstream Christian"lol it sorted of put me out left of centre with that comment I have learnt to except things and move on but at that time I did feel like I was out of sync with something thanks for reading:)

I believe that God wants a changed man and change only happens from inside of the heart because I personally believe that a persons actions reflect their heart , I suppose repentence is a good starting point which should lead to one's heart:)

the only eqaulity for man and woman is that we are born in water and when we die return as dust everyone has too go through these 2events if I remember that is the key part of the Plan of Salvation:) just my take

best diet I have come across would be raw food diet plant based nuts/fruit diet my wife is a vegan since 15yrs old and so are most of my kids , talk about strength and energy and healthy skin its quite simple eat no process food and dairy(it is quite a struggle for some(me) to convert too being a vegetarian then towards vegan but I find the more veggies/fruit I eat something like 70%raw veggies and 30% meat but slowly getting there:)

what happens if the 7year old grows up to be a loving father and the 3year old chooses being Gay , I never really thought playing with toys or dress-ups contributed too one's sexual choice(being Gay) or tendancies later in life, my uncle(who is a christian) used too "toughen" up his boys by making sure that they only played with tonka trucks army toys and toy guns guess what one cousin became homeseuxual and the other Bi Sexual I guess he bought the wrong colour Tonka trucks and army toys:)

you must be a AWESOME mum if your son can tell you he is gay he must really love you alot , honestly if my son came and told me he was gay my old brain would say "disown him" then my new brain would show "compassion" for myself I would accept his view on life even if we are on opposite sides of the fence thats when true love prevails I suppose:) cheers

Does the Priesthood run through the matriarch
Avrham replied to Avrham's topic in Jewish Beliefs Board
hahaha yeah I saw that really funny how the KKK discribed the lineage thing and then interviewer asked about why there isn't Jewish kkk being half Jewish might work getting in though, I notice the Picture of Christ(the inspired LDS version):):):)hanging up in the background -
Hello I am just wondering someone mentioned something interesting to me the other day that if your mother is Jewish then your Jewish regardless of the father background is this true? and if its true does mothers blood line means the Priesthood goes through the mothers line as well? just wondering :) kinds regards Avrham

Hi Traveler my notion of a genius is someone who thinks outside the sqaure and is a person who is never satisfied with one solution and always asking questions like "why" sounds like everyone might have this intution at some stage of their life and the ones who know this are the exception just wondering can education and learning be the same thing??? I learnt from my 5yr old son that "learning is free and education is money" that really made me laugh so I asked him where did he get that from )his answer "Going to karate and learning to speak Japanesee" then I kindly reminded him that it cost money for Karate but he just turns around and says"yeahh but they talk Japanesee So I talk Japanesee as well" but the interesting thing is He can't count 1to10properly in English but fluenlty1to50 in Japanese and learning too speak Japanese sentences and phrases to his sensie Sorry if I went of on a tangent:)

Hey their LDSValley I like your post on HT and EQ being a former EQ Counselor for 12yrs HT was always interesting especially peoples interpretations of the manual and ways of making it work lol Always used to laugh when HP would always (try)assign EQ with HT rosters and so forth and alot of people I think it was the clerks who always tried too explain percentages too me every month and every quater and people doing quick HT in the coridors but I always had a amazing experiances with HT my experiance of HT and all the programs that I came across has shown me that "People matter" if their strong or weak (Gospel)their was no such thing active inactive does not exist in my vocab> where all members and that my EQ try their best at whatever was set both personally and as a Quorum it was really cool that 8members when I started out in EQ Presidency all eventually become temple members for the first time(all due to God) and we where(are) still tight knit unit even though I am not apart of EQ(don't go to church much) but the lessons I have learned are immeasurable:):):) cheers

Hello Blackknight I used to struggle with a bad mouth myself having been through the Army where they used all sorts of colourful language which if I remember correctly we called it (swearing)"speaking french" as the Queens English does not contain a foul word>but I have found that my bad mouth has disapeared over time and the only time I swear is when I am very upset I try not too follow old habits such as being casual in conversations and always trying to listen to the "Spirit" to try promote more meaningful conversations with people every day especially with my "Fellow Harden troops" sounds easy or maybe I am catching up with my age or my maturity my Wife taped me once and every second word was bad and I was quite suprised myself when she replayed it but I concesiously decided when my daughter was born that I try not too use bad language>besides "Our mouths should be used for Heavenly fathers purpose"A reminder from my family:):):) I pray that Christ will give you strength to make the right choices:):)

I have always had the belief that my faith produces good works>my faith has always lead me to following the Savior and to do whatever He required>ie listen to modern day Prophets and read scriptures which is small part of my Faith in Him the Savior:):)

Hi I was always taught that religion is something you practice like sport/set of beliefs and is always considered a outward appearance ie you have a belief and you go out and practice it :) Spirituality is something I would consider personal and could not really define because for me its a broad subject , can a person be both I believe yes you/they can as for being separate my answer would be the same:)

Can atheism be illogical, even if there is no god?
Avrham replied to riverogue's topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
Sorry things are not going your way at the moment River I would pray for you because its the only thing I know how to do without stuffing things up:) -
I was always taught that being "born again" has to come before one is too be baptised and that it is a spiritual rebirth (believe God/Jesus exist/and sin is prevelant in my life)comes before water-baptism however it was not until I joined the LDS Church Faith/repentence constituted with my belief of"being born again" and that the physical presence baptism/Holy Ghost reconfirmed what I was taught by my parents and turning away from my sins and trying to walk a right life:) just from my personal experiance

The Temple Interview and MY Responsbilities
Avrham replied to virtue025's topic in Marriage and Relationship Advice
Hello I just think maybe the onus is on your husband however if its a major concern for you just openly discuss it with him before the interview . Besides it would be better for him to come forward and admit if he has any issues >I suppose its his responsibility if you tell the bishop then that negates him , but it goes back to open and direct(honest) discussion between you and him :):) -
I find when you start following other peoples standards or expectations(worldly or habits)it tends to direct my thoughts else where(on others) instead of what is in front of me especially being grateful for what I do have>The only standards that really matter is my realtionship with Christ:):)
