I agree, and so when it starts the thread will be blocked and if the individuals responsible start again somewhere else they will have to go on a temporary ban. You can dicuss topics while still choosing to have a kind "Debate". If the topic talks about s*e*x , drugs or anything not positively up lifting or informational, then they will be deleted.

I explained what you could do if it meant that much....As for detracting from the temple....I married my husband as the only member in my family, so do I think it's ok to have a "small" civil ceremony...YES! I don't think the lord will shame her for showing her father love. To me this might actually bring him closer to wanting to work on himself and give him a desire to change. My dad is a non-member .. through out my life I lived by example and because of my example and my willingness to make him feel apart of my life, he has quit smoking recently and drinking coffee. Change takes place through all actions of love and kindness.....................

I was told that children can still see through the veil because they are such sweet innocent spirits. That would make me wonder if they can reconnect through the veil.....

Truly truly...If your niece and her family really cared what there non-member family thought they would have set up an additional ceremony at the church for non-members....where they could exchange vows...I know because I did, and everyone I know who has non-member family do it out of courtesy..It has nothing to do with the church....I would tell your niece how you feel and ask her if she can do this for you, explain how important it is to you....

Hi guys, Wow attitude hu ? ....Your attitude and how you handle thing makes or breaks everything. When you are spiritually up lifted with a positive attitude you are more able to over come adversity and stress and maintain a balanced life , however when you become stressed, and depressed with lifes overwhelming struggles it makes everything become off balanced. The prophet has expressed how important it is to read or scriptures and have family prayer daily, if we do this...We will find that those things that normally knock our life off balance won't hold us there, we will be able to move forward with out a huge struggle. That doesn't mean the roller coaster stops in life, it just means the lord is giving you the strength to handle the things he throws at you So a positive attitude is great ! B) But a Spiritually Positive attitude is like a brick wall for satan..... It allows you to be in charge of your own happiness. Just my thoughts Hugs and Prayers LaurelTree

Yes I know, we have been working on this for several years. I am looking for others who have been or are in a similiar situation. There are a lot of theories and opinions about this, I have already heard all of those.
