A vision recorded by a LDS woman:

Here is what I have dug up:
-
After my wife and I got divorced.. she decided she now wanted the Church back in her life so she had her Bishop write me a letter. It said: Your ex-wife is desirous of canceling her temple sealing with you. she needs a letter from you which give any fact, circumstances, or feelings which may assist the First Presidency in it's consideration of her request. So please, I ask you to send a letter of this kind. I did. Joseph Smith understood these sealings of people. He would seal himself to one person and because that person was sealed to their parents.. he too became sealed to them. So.. if you have a child in the covenant.. you are then sealed to that child.. her mother and her mother's new husband. It is a big happy family! LOL You have to quit thinking like a human.. and think like a God.

Wow.. now we get this major alert from the Church. Things are starting to ramp up! -
I think this talk has everything to do with John 14:1. But if you step back.. and see what is going on here at the time he brings this up. This is at the last supper.. and the Christ knows what is ahead of him. Gethsemane.. the mock trial.. the scourging.. the Crucifixion. All negative things eh? But how does he handle it? Crying? Complaining? Fearful? Sorrowful? Worried? Now compare it to the things that are going on now.. today in our lives. Troubled times. How do we or will we deal with these things ahead? Worry, fear, sorrowful? or the way Christ handled it? To start the talk.. I normally would start like this.... "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me." said Christ. It reminds me of a story of a mother who worried about her two boys. They were always in trouble. If something happened.. you could almost guarantee that somehow.. these two were involved in it. So as this mother worried.. she decided she would have the Bishop talk to the boys.. not together mind you... but one at a time. She spoke with the Bishop and he agreed and asked that the first boy be sent to his office after school the next day. The mother was excited that possibly this could be the trick to get her boys back on track.. as she did worry so. She told her first son that he was to see the Bishop the next day after school. So the next day comes.. and this boy enters the Bishops office for his meeting. As the Bishop looks at him.. he decides to teach him about God.. and being more like him... So he asks the boy.. Tell me.. where is God? The boy just looks at him and says nothing... The bishop then moves closer to him.. thinking maybe he didn't hear him and repeats the question.. Where is God? The boy again.. says nothing.. but looks at the Bishop. The Bishop.. then troubled by the lack of response.. stands up.. and says.. Son.. I have asked you a question... Where is God? All of a sudden.. the boy jumps up from his seat and runs out of the Bishop's office.. running for home. He gets home and immediately runs into his bedroom where his brother is and says to him.. We are in big trouble. God is missing and they think we had something to do with it. "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me." And then proceed from there. I would include truthful things from you life. Try to tie in your absense from the Church and why you have decided to come back. I hope this helps. But please... don't ask me to write the whole speech.. hehehe

Nice to know that a person can have a vision and not be the Prophet at the time.

Are God's Commands hard to follow?

To live in a Celestial Kingdom.. and be like God.. you have to start behaving like one here and live the law here. It is practice time. And practice makes perfect. Does he expect perfection? Nope Does he expect you will get close? Possibly. The point is.. the more you don't do things wrong.. the more chance the Spirit of God has to communicate with your Spirit and teach you higher laws. The more you practice the higher laws... the easier they become. They become a part of you... rather than something you drag around. Those who say.. Jesus I'm saved... don't know what they are talking about and will just find themselves not where they want to be. They will be the ones doing the gnashing of teeth because of the deception they bought into. As a teacher.. one can only be expected to present the material.. not stuff it in the brain. Remember what the greatest commandment is.. and the 2nd unto it. LOVE GOD.. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR. It is all about service and caring about others more than yourself! Really.. if you do that.. you are living the Celestial Law! Care about others more than you care about yourself. -
I suppose he did explain that some revelations are of the devil.. but here he says that he has not received one. I understood that The Contributor, Vol. V, pp. 251-260 was an Church publication. Is that wrong? Oh Joseph taught it. But not on a full scale to the entire Church. That did not happen until the Saints were in SLC. There were many things done by Joseph that have not been repeated by the Church. He had a greater understanding about things. He sealed men to men.. and himself to married women. No I have not. I understand it was only one issue and from what I have heard.. it contained many lies and exaggerations written about the Prophet. The City Council deemed the paper a problem to the community and had it destroyed.

I came across this on the internet and just wondered if anyone else has seen or heard of it? I increased the size of the text to make it easier to read.

Oh.. did I introduce doctrine? Listen.. you can take the information any way you want. I just provided 4 different sources to the essentially the same vision. It matters not if it is believed as I have no compensation either way. And I will never know who heeds it. We are told to search after truth.. and to not be afraid of it. We teach investigators that when new "TRUTH" is placed before them.. what they are suppose to do??? 4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask• God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true•; and if ye shall ask with a sincere• heart, with real• intent, having faith• in Christ, he will manifest• the truth• of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know• the truth• of all things. It is not anyones responsibility but your own to discern the information. Put not your trust in the arm of flesh. That is why we are to ask of God. Is that not the same directive we are given concerning the GENERAL AUTHORITIES? To confirm from God if what they tell us is true or not true? Not to follow blindly? To gain a testimony of their words on our own? And as we can see here.. even when 'GENERAL AUTHORITIES' speak.. their words are not to be transmitted to anyone outside of the listening audience unless.. it is in 'GENERAL' Conference where at that appointed time.. it is right for them to speak to EVERYONE. Though Elder Packer's warning was not intended for the 'GENERAL MEMBERSHIP' it was still a warning none the less. And it amazes me how flippant people are with the message. "LIKE WE HAVEN'T HEARD THIS A THOUSANDS TIMES BEFORE" I just shared something with this group. One can dismiss it.. or heed it. I am not trying to convert anyone. I am not writing a book for money or asking you to join a club. I shared 4 visions with you from people who are Latter Day Saints. There is no Doctrine Change here! We are to search out truth anywhere we can find it! But if this does come to pass... are you then going to ignore the message you read? Are you still going to "receive" that inoculation? Are you still going to enter the camps? Are you at least thinking about.. just how prepared am I? Maybe do Elder Packer's words take on just a little more meaning? Maybe a little more weight? If it wakes up just one person... and makes them think... makes them pray.. then that is a good thing. Yes.. we are all given the right to personal revelation. But how many people out there actually ask for it? :) -

One does not need to have a prophecy endorsed by the Church. Acts 2: 17-18 17 And it shall come to pass in the last• days, saith God, I will pour• out of my Spirit• upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy•, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream• dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy•: 1 Cor. 14: 1 Follow• after charity, and desire spiritual gifts•, but rather that ye may prophesy. • • • 5 I would• that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied•: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. 22 Wherefore tongues• are for a sign•, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying• serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. • • • 24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: • • • 31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. • • • 39 Wherefore, brethren, covet• to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. Num 11: 26 But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp. 27 And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp. We are a people that believes in prophecy and visions. Why would we shun those that do it or deny that it can be done? When it comes to Church matters.. our Prophet is who we turn to for Spiritual guidance. He receives revelation pertaining to the Church.. and its members in general. Luke 1: 67 67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied•, saying, Acts 21: 9 9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy•. Rom. 12: 6 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace• that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith•; 1 Thes. 5: 20 20 Despise not prophesyings. -

That is the SAD TRUTH! -
I have found that Christians have defined themselves more than just following Christ. That was the old definition. The "new" definition is that you must believe in the "gospel" that is preached in the Bible.. not that "other" gospel (more than one heaven & one hell, no baptism for the dead, etc). You must believe that Satan.. is not the brother of Jesus. And most importantly.. you must believe in the trinity. So folks.. that leaves us out! Until the "Christians" change the definition back to one who follows Christ.. I go by LDS as well. Don't get caught telling people you are Christian and then later on fine tune the Christian to LDS. They will preceive that as a deception! Seems to be their major grip about us anyway. We just don't give enough of a history lesson on Joseph Smith (34 wives, Book of Abraham, etc), and Brigham Young (Adam/God Theory, etc) and all the problems the Saints had with the world (MMM, destroying the press in Nauvoo, blacks and the priesthood, etc.)... before someone is baptized. So if I were you.. I would totally be on the up and up.
