When do the Timberswolves play the Lakers?

Dr. T, I wasn't able to get the game via ESPNLA, but I was able to read the summary of the game and the tough lose to Denver. Perhaps, Kobe is trying to shoulder too much of the game for the team, I don't know. However, I do know that he deserves the title of, Mr. Inspiration, for his efforts to motivate the team. He picked up his 14th Tech foul, which shows me that the pressure to win could be hurting him there. I read where he has gotten several tech fouls in the past and barely made it to the end of the regular BB season without having to sit out a game. When I coached BB, I was lucky that I didn’t get a tech foul called, and I know it is difficult to keep quiet when you have a good reason to rise and shout. Let's see, who do we play next?

Dr T, I was so happy to learn that the Lakers are doing much better and may make the play-offs. Occasionally. I can watch a game, but most of the time, I have to be content to catch the results on ESPN in my area or from you. I am grateful for your posts that keep me current.

Thanks for the info about cable stations I can connect through, but with my budget, I can only afford to use ESPN and that only occasionally airs the Lakers' games. However, I did catch the ESPN summary of the Lakers' win over Portland tonight. Kobe and the team did a great job winning the game. Kobe had 40 while the others filled in with the rest. I heard that Howard and Nash had a good game as well. Gar

Thanks for the heads up Dr T. I won't be able to watch it tonight. Please let me know how KObe and Howrad and the rest of our men play tonight. In my area, I don't receive all the stations that I need to watch all the sporst through basic TV, therefore your updates are most helpful. Thanks a Million, Gar

Hey way to go Lakers!! It is too bad that the late Dr. Jerry Buss didn't get to watch it in this life, but I'm sure as I am alive that he saw it from that great Laker's spot in sports heaven. I wrote a Blog tonight about the Savior's Grace and not quitting or giving up. I'm glad that our team hasn’t given up and remains on track for the playoffs. :shout:Gar

Greetings Dr. T, Thanks for the info about the Lakers owner passing away. I know that you love the Lakers and due to your consistent loyalty, I am a fan as well. Incidentally, I believe that if there are "other worlds in which to run" that there are other worlds that the sport of basketball will exist. Blessings, Gar
  10. Reading this Proverb has always been helpful to me when fasting and praying and searching for an answer from God. Proverbs: 3:5-6 5. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths; And after reading Doctrine and Covenants Section 6:22-23, 22. Verily, verily, I say unto you, if you desire a further witness, cast your mind upon the night that you cried unto me in your heart, that you might know concerning the truth of these things. 23. Did I not speak peace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater witness can you have than from God?; (Thanks Wingnut) then I am strengthened in my resolve to hold to the truth that I feel in my heart and know in my mind.

Dr T, I didn't get to watch the game. I tried to find it on my limited cable TV, and there were several games played that night, but I didn't get to see it. I would have liked to have seen it, but didn't. I appreciate your info on the game and your enthusiasm and loyalty for the team. Your info helps me stay in touch and keeps my understanding of how our boys are playing. If I had a better cable system for my TV then perhaps, I could catch all the games. Thank you so much for keeping me informed of the team's progress. I know that you must be their best fan online. Gar

Dr T, Your information about the Laker’s team progress as they continue playing basketball this season is much appreciated. I'm becoming a loyal Laker fan through your efforts to keep everyone posted. You deserve some kind of RuntoTomorrow award for remaining a loyal Lakers fan. Yeah, your good example is an award to you and a blessing to others. I don't really understand all of your challenges, but I have learned that no matter what you may face, you have always been a friend to all, which I think may not have been an easy thing to do occasionally. Thank you for your patience.

Do you know how long Howard will be out? It was a great victory.
  18. God created the first man and woman, which is a known fact from the Biblical history. Known: that the genetic make up of humankind is a consistent factor with all human species. Known: God can doing anything even create man out of the dust of the earth. Known: God’s ways are higher than our ways [knowledge]. Known: all of Adam's children inherited the genetic ability to have belly buttons. That genetic ability could not be without first it having been found in the parents of that off-spring. Known: You have a so-called belly button. Known: Yes, they had belly buttons LOL:idea:

I watched the game and it appeared that the Lakers, Kobe and team were going to pull this one off, but Howard's injury made it harder for the team to play as they did earlier. They are off of their winning streak, but they are yet very a good team. I hope they make the playoffs. Who is Worldpeace? Is that for real and why?

You know DrT; our boys didn't play very bad. I think that all they need is to get better on their quickness on the floor and play quicker and faster defense. They have the ability as a team to do that, perhaps they are doing just that, and I am hoping for too much from them. They can be a championship team and we have the simple faith that their play will get better and better. If more injuries happen then they happen, but that won't stop them from achieving the greatness they have shown as a team. I do believe that our combined prayers could help some of the team members make better use of their talents. GO LAKERS :shout:

Dr T, I watched the game and Kobe didn't have a good game. The team played well which made up for some of Kobe's misses, but it just wasn't enough backup. It must be a team effort that involves Kobe's excellent shooting. Well, it' on to the next game and the next having hope for the Lakers. Gar

Your adversity, though harsh, has given you a keener insight into the purpose of life. Your spunky attitude is as a spark that many of us could use to keep going through our own trials.

You are so lucky, Dr T, to have a team that you can get your hopes up every game they play. That kind of hope invigorates your mind and increases the blood flow throughout the entire body. Now, before you go thinking that I'm some kind of MD, I'm not and wouldn't want to be. I'm a realist that thinks straight and believes that if you don't have something to hope for and a goal to dream about that soon your mind becomes stagnant and you lose those dreams that have kept you going strong for so many years. I say hold to the Lakers and never let go of that great quality of Lakers Loyalty!
