  1. Hi I was on here a lot about 4-6 months ago until my life got turned upside down. But I hope to meet a good group of online support within the comm. Unfortunately my current job schedule makes it impossible to church on Sundays but hopefully in March this will all change. I hope everyone has a great year and hopefully you'll be seeing more of me again!
  2. Dear Jim, I don't understand why you did the things you did when I was a teenager but over the years I've come to accept it, as the actions that make up who you are. I know your dad did the same thing and I guess by doing less of what he did your working on breaking the cycle, unfortunately you haven't, that will be my job. I hope one day both of us won't be so resigned to the relationship we have now and maybe one day I'll be able to call you dad again and mean it. Carter.
  3. And just think with the new promo the pepsi is coming out with, the 'throw back' sodas, with pure sugar..... The really crazy thing is that its less carbs by 1 gram LOL
  4. My gf bought a work out dvd with a piece of equipment and she only got the dvds, which she never watched because she didn't get the equipment, so from that I would be really hard pressed to buy something on TV.
  5. That was great I needed a laugh today
  6. Pam, if you needed a pic of me you could've just ask! jk
  7. I would think it would more depend on what the artist is wanting to depict. Even when I was a teenage I never thought of most nude art to be sexual, just the human form. Would images of nude people in my biology/anatomy books for class then be considered 'dirty'?
  8. How long was your engagement, it seems like there should have bee warning signs earlier. How long have you been married? Have you looked to get couples therapy? What do you do to contribute to her problems? It seems like you may want to work on your communication skills with each other. Maybe moving away from her family would do everyone some good!
  9. I don't think it would help and furthermore, they haven't done anything wrong in the eyes of the law so why should they be punished.
  10. He is going to hate you guys for a while this is a given. He has a great opportunity now to choose the right path, keep a job and place to live or choose the path of anger resentment and playing the victim. Remember that you’re doing it because you love him and want him to be a responsible and it seems like this is the only way. Don't give in and let him back, all it will do is create more hate and resentment.
  11. Personally I consider staying silent when you know an issue is wrong is watching someone get hurt and not stepping in. Its easy to turn a blind eye and have no one take responsibility but the issue wont ever change until someone high up takes a stand…… I personally don’t think interracial marriage should be looked down upon and if right now in church doctrine that it is fine then I think someone should be stepping up to the plate. But I’m young and dumb so what do I know.
  12. The state is completely wrong. As long as these parents aren't teaching their children to be violent amongst another person, then yes they should be able to teach them whatever they want. If I can teach my child the religion of my choosing in my own home that doesn't hurt anyone physically then it’s really no ones business. Though I personally think these parents are teaching their children the wrong thing I can’t deny them and nor should the government their right to teach/believe it.
  13. Hmmm, well depending on the amount I would probably use it all for school, if I was close to retirment then I would keep my job and most likley start some sort of foundation with the money.
  14. I'm sorry to hear about your bad times! I hope this site works well for you and welcome!
