  1. Interesting ideas... I wouldn't have thought of these.
  2. Bishop's storehouse? Speed dating? I think that one came up elsewhere...
  3. My older brother is a computer geek, and as such, he was given nicknames that was geek-related. He worked up at a cub scout camp, and he took upon him the nickname "Dijjithedde" ((or something like that...)), after his obsession. The nickname was popular there, to the point that the staff there decided to name the next brother to work there "Dubldijit". As a younger brother, I decided that that "trend" was cool, and decided to leave space for my twin to have the name "Trpldijjit" or something, so I made my name "Cwadrupldijjit" to carry on the tradition. However, my brother decided not to follow that same idea, so he is known by other means. Same as my younger brother...
  4. Hee hee hee... That's one of the things that I like about my name--it's difficult to spell. But there's a story behind that name. And it was intentionally spelled incorrectly. It was supposed to be Quadruple Digit, but it's not as fun otherwise...
  5. Just a picture that I found on Google images. I'm quite interested in stellar bodies.
  6. Hopefully we are more receptive to the good. President Gordon B. Hinkley said that we shouldn't stew over the bad, and look toward the good. I prefer this strategy.
  7. And some good members work on Sundays, and I'm glad they do, as then we wouldn't have some governmental services provided then. They would just stop, as if we were Jewish or something... ((by the way, that wasn't meant to be condescending or demeaning in any way))
  8. Yup. Good ideas. I forget - Has "talent shows" come up yet?
  9. Yet they are still able to send a message across, right?
  10. VERRY wonderful. And useful. If you have somebody who is confused, just whip it out!
  11. I agree. You could use those scout skits!
  12. That's why you should know beforehand and prepare. Still, dwelling on the dark side of things isn't probably the best thing...
  13. Somebody in our ward brought us to their work and we were able to drive a forklift. The first scary ride I've been on...
  14. Do you believe it? Can you see yourself as being that? Or do you see it because you took the test? I'm not trying to be somewhat cynical, but just a question...
  15. I staff up at Camp Tracy during the summer. I like how Greg Phillips, our wonderful camp director, has organized us into an actual crew, rather than just a group of venturing scouts as staff, then disassociate themselves from the camp until next year. We are going to meet all year round. I've always wanted to be in a venturing crew...
  16. I think that this forum and the people who run it are good at what they do.
  17. I know, but I took the test before and got that. Strange...
