i tried reading the book, but it was a bit slow for me, and hard to get into. i was interested, but the pace of it just wasn't fast enough. i'll have to give the movie a try though, as i've heard a lot about it and the topic of the holocaust is very interesting to me.

sounds like my new neighbors. i'm at the point that either the neighbors or my eardrums go. although they were good last night *knock on wood*. i'll go to bed at 10pm with the music blaring, and wake up at 4am for work and the music's still going. i honestly think sometimes they just get so drunk or stoned that they forget their music is on when they pass out. i'm gettin ready to complain.

we got a sample of a sham-wow in one of our "grocers magazines" at work. it was cheap. i wouldn't spend my money on it. i almost bought the magic bullet one morning. buy one get one free. then i remembered i have a perfectly good blender that i already hardly ever use. so there went that thought.

when the alberta (cardston) temple was re-dedicated in (i want to say 91....i was in grade 4 or 5 i think), there was an open house before. i remember going through it then, it was quite the experience.

i like it. can you get into the church library and get some pictures to go with the talk to help show them some of the things you are talking about? maybe a picture of Christ being baptized, a dad baptizing his son, a dad confirming his son. different pictures having to do with what baptism means to you and the things that go with your talk?
