my mom paid for schooling for my brother and myself. I went to BYU-I and NAIT, and my brother went to U of U. She didn't do it because she felt she had to, she did it because she wanted to. Even being a single mother most her life, and after getting married and being told her spouse (who adopted my brother and i) wouldn't help pay for school, she still did it. It's definately a choice for you to make. I don't think one decision is better than the other, just make sure if you're helping, you do it because you want to, and not because you feel you have to.

i just briefly heard the CTV commentators say this is the last year for the compulsory in ice dancing at the olympics. did anyone else hear that? or was it wishful thinking on my part?

i still don't understand the difference between ice dancing and figure skating. as for skeleton and luge.....i think they need to have an event in the summer olympics for watersliding.....since it's almost the same thing

it bores me too....i changed the channel for it, but had to keep turning back cause i didn't want to miss the skeleton. and boy am i glad i caught the final round of it!

apparently when he was on oprah he said one thing he didn't realize was how much food we waste, and was wondering why we're not donating it to a food bank or something DUH. that's something we've been saying for years! also, the thing that makes me think it's real is... every month we get a "message from joe" on our computer at work with his picture on it. for the last month or 2, it's been a "message from....some other guy". i found it a bit odd, until i heard about "undercover boss" and it made sense to me that they probably took his picture down so people didn't recognize him right off the bat. i've met him once before, he's a fairly ordinary looking guy. i'm looking forward to seeing it. feb 21st

my boss is going to be on this on the 21st. i'm waiting to see how he impliments some of the changes so far we're heard he had issues with.

i have my little 4 month old miniature dachshund....who, for the first time, was allowed to sleep outside of his kennel 2 nights ago, and not get into mischief or make messes. as well, for the first time was allowed to stay out of his kennel while i was at work, and not get into mischief or make messes. go stretch :) i also have my picasso dog. he's a bichon shih tzu who's about 11 years old and lives with my mom.
